On some versions, a minus control appears; tap it to remove the sticker. This gesture comes from a Samsung Community user report, not a current official Samsung procedure, so it may not work on every device. If no control appears, check the date overview for a smiley or sticker control before taking any action on the event itself.
Try the sticker control first

Open Samsung Calendar and select the date showing the unwanted sticker.

Touch and hold the sticker itself. A Samsung Community user reported that a minus symbol appeared and allowed removal on that version of Calendar. If the minus control appears, tap it. Samsung’s current support instructions do not confirm this as a universal sticker-removal method, and the interface can vary by device and software version. If holding the sticker does not reveal a control, inspect the selected date overview for a smiley or sticker icon. A 2022 Samsung Community discussion describes using a smiley icon to manage a date’s sticker, but it does not establish a current, guaranteed removal sequence. Make sure it is a sticker, not an event
Samsung Calendar supports stickers associated with dates and events. Samsung’s One UI 6 feature information says users can add up to two stickers to each date, and that event stickers appear beside the event name in Month view. A date sticker and an event sticker may therefore look different; the sticker-only gesture is not established for every kind of sticker. Samsung One UI 6 features
If you choose Delete on an event, you are deleting the event rather than simply removing its decoration. Samsung’s support steps are to select the date, long-press or open the event, tap Delete, then confirm Move to Trash. Do this only if you intend to remove the event record. If the item comes back or is synced
An item that returns may be managed by a linked calendar account rather than stored only in Samsung Calendar. Samsung advises that events synced from services such as Gmail or Outlook may need to be hidden or deleted in the originating calendar or web account. You can also uncheck a calendar or turn off its account under Manage calendar to hide its events in Samsung Calendar. Hiding an account affects that calendar’s entries broadly, not just one sticker. Samsung’s instructions say to open the repeating event, tap Delete, and select All events in series when the intention is to remove the whole series. Why the controls may look different
Samsung notes that Calendar menu names and layouts vary with device model, software version, and app version. Its regional support guidance may also differ. An older Galaxy A51 manual documents a Calendar Stickers control, but does not provide a sticker-removal procedure, so it should not be treated as current removal guidance.
