Regions has launched the Materials and Infrastructure Group, a new team within its Corporate Banking organization. Announced October 7, 2026, the group is intended to serve manufacturers and distributors of materials used in building products, infrastructure, packaging and related specialty-material industries. Regions named Ryan Franco as the group’s leader.
What is the Materials and Infrastructure Group?

The announcement describes the group’s intended customer industries but does not specify its full service menu, geographic coverage, client eligibility rules or financing terms. It also does not identify companies that have joined the group. Regions’ October 7, 2026 announcement names Ryan Franco as its leader.

How does it relate to Regions’ other construction finance businesses?
Regions already describes separate banking capabilities serving parts of the broader construction and real-estate market. Their published descriptions provide context about the bank’s existing work, but they are not a product list for the new Materials and Infrastructure Group.

|---|---|---|
| Materials and Infrastructure Group | Manufacturers and distributors of materials used in building products, infrastructure, packaging and related specialty-material industries. | The October 7, 2026 announcement identifies the industry focus and group leader; it does not state specific financing products or terms. | Homebuilder Finance | Homebuilders. | Regions lists financing for new-home construction, lot purchases and development, including builder lines of credit, borrowing-base facilities, land acquisition and development loans, loans to national publicly traded homebuilders, and letters of credit. Homebuilder Finance |
| Affordable Housing | Income- and rent-restricted apartment properties. | Regions describes debt and equity financing, including construction and equity bridge financing, and lists construction loans. Affordable Housing |
These are distinct capabilities. Regions’ published descriptions of Homebuilder Finance and Affordable Housing do not establish that either business is part of the new group or that the new group offers the same financing.

Does the new group use Regions’ Built-powered construction finance platform?
That has not been established. In July 2021, Regions announced a collaboration with Built on a digital solution for homebuilders and developers. The announcement described features including viewing real-time availability, requesting draws and inspections, and accessing analytics and reporting. That historical example concerns homebuilder financing; it does not show that the Materials and Infrastructure Group uses the platform. Regions’ July 12, 2021 announcement.

The October 7 announcement excerpt does not provide a detailed service menu, geographic reach, client qualification criteria, financing rates or terms, or named customers. It also contains no directly attributed quotation or statistic suitable for describing the group. Those details should not be inferred from Regions’ other construction-related businesses.
