Which phone lasted longer in the battery test?
91mobiles reported about 24.0 hours for the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max and 20.8 hours for the OnePlus Nord 6 in its PCMark battery run. The test began at 100% charge, used 80% display brightness, and stopped when the battery fell below 20%. It therefore measures a run from full charge to a threshold—not runtime from 100% to empty.

On those results, the Redmi is the clear endurance pick for this benchmark. A different mix of screen time, brightness, mobile signal, apps, software, and settings can change real-world battery life, so the result should not be read as a promise of a particular number of hours in daily use.

Which one charges faster?
In the same 91mobiles comparison, charging from 20% to 100% took 1 hour 17 minutes 40 seconds for the Redmi and 1 hour 5 minutes for the Nord 6. By those reported timings, the Nord finished sooner. The article’s charging-round winner label conflicts with its own times, so the figures are the more useful evidence.
Charging ratings are not the same as observed charge times. Xiaomi lists 100W HyperCharge for the Redmi in India and notes that actual power varies with conditions. The 91mobiles charge times apply to its tested setup; they do not establish what either phone will take with every adapter, cable, temperature, or battery state.

What happened during gaming?
The gaming results do not establish a consistent winner. In 91mobiles’ 40-minute Call of Duty: Mobile session, the Nord lost 5% and the Redmi 6%. In its 40-minute BGMI session, the Nord lost 6% and the Redmi 5%. Each phone had a one-percentage-point advantage in one game, a narrow split that applies to those sessions rather than all gaming conditions.
Check the exact regional version before comparing
REDMI Note 17 Pro Max
Xiaomi India lists a 10,000mAh typical silicon-carbon battery, 100W HyperCharge, 27W wired reverse charging, and an included 100W charger. Its page says package contents may vary by region or packaging version. Xiaomi Global also cautions that actual battery and charging results vary, and tells buyers to check local sellers about adapter availability. These India package details should not be assumed for every market.

Variant details matter too: Android Central’s 2026 review discusses a 9,210mAh version as well as Xiaomi selling a 10,000mAh model. That is useful context, but it does not identify which capacity was used in 91mobiles’ test. Check the model and market-specific specification for the exact phone being considered.
OnePlus Nord 6
The 9,000mAh capacity and 80W wired charging rating are reported by 91mobiles, and Android Central also reports a 9,000mAh battery. The sources cited here do not establish official regional charger-in-box details. Confirm the specification and included accessories with OnePlus or the seller in your market.
