For a fair comparison, use the same country, currency, date and storage tier. Compare the specific 4G or 5G Redmi listing with a Nothing Phone (3a) listing, and check that each seller identifies the exact regional model. If storage capacities do not match, make that difference explicit rather than treating the prices as directly equivalent.
How do the specifications differ?
Processor and software
The UAE non-5G Redmi lists MediaTek’s Helio G100-Ultra; Xiaomi’s Global Redmi Note 15 5G lists Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. Nothing India lists Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and Nothing OS 3 for the Phone (3a). Xiaomi lists a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen for the UAE non-5G model. Its Global 5G page gives more detail: 2392 × 1080 resolution and a refresh rate up to 120Hz. The cited Nothing page material does not establish the Phone (3a)’s display details for this comparison, so a complete display-versus-display verdict is not supported here.

The UAE Redmi page lists a 108MP main camera. Xiaomi’s Global 5G page specifies a 108MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Megapixel counts and component lists do not demonstrate photo quality, and there is no independent side-by-side camera test to identify a winner.
Battery and charging
The UAE non-5G Redmi is listed with a 6000mAh battery and 33W charging. Xiaomi’s Global 5G model is listed with a 5520mAh typical silicon-carbon battery and 45W charging; the typical-capacity figure is Xiaomi’s specification, not a measured battery-life result. Nothing Europe lists a 5000mAh battery for Phone (3a), but the cited official page text does not establish its wired-charging rate. Capacity figures alone cannot predict runtime, which also depends on usage, software and network conditions.

For the India Redmi Note 15 5G, Xiaomi’s detailed page lists 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations, microSD expansion up to 1TB, and a 45W adapter in the box. Xiaomi lists IP64 for the UAE non-5G Redmi and IP66 for the Global Redmi Note 15 5G.
