Samsung’s comparison phone is the Galaxy A37 5G. Their headline specs differ, but there is no verified, like-for-like price difference without a country and matching configurations.
Which Redmi Note 15 Pro is being compared?
Xiaomi’s global page titled REDMI Note 15 Pro describes the 4G version: it lists 4G, 3G and 2G network support and a MediaTek Helio G200-Ultra processor. Xiaomi has a separate REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G with a Dimensity 7400-Ultra processor. Those specifications are not interchangeable. The Galaxy A37 is a 5G phone, so a connectivity or performance comparison should name the Redmi variant explicitly.

How the screen and cameras compare
Display
Both manufacturers list refresh rates up to 120Hz. Xiaomi specifies a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel at 2392 × 1080 for the Redmi 4G; Samsung describes the A37’s 6.7-inch display as FHD+ Super AMOLED. The published figures establish a small difference in stated size and resolution, but they do not establish which screen looks better in use.

Rear cameras
The Redmi 4G has a higher stated main-camera resolution—200MP with optical image stabilization—while the A37 lists a 50MP main camera and adds a 5MP macro camera. Both list an 8MP ultrawide. Megapixel counts alone do not show which phone takes better photos: the figures do not account for image processing, lens performance or results in different lighting, and no independent camera comparison is established here.
Performance, battery and durability
Performance
Xiaomi names the Redmi 4G’s Helio G200-Ultra and lists its process size and maximum clock speed. Samsung’s cited global A37 announcement does not identify the processor, so these sources do not support a balanced chip-versus-chip performance verdict. Do not apply the Redmi 4G’s processor to the separate Redmi 5G model.

Battery and charging
Xiaomi publishes a 6500mAh typical battery capacity and 45W charging for the cited Redmi 4G model, and says a 45W charger is included on that page. Samsung’s cited announcement does not establish the A37’s battery capacity or charging rate; a head-to-head battery or charging advantage therefore cannot be concluded from these sources.
Water and dust resistance
Xiaomi lists IP65 for the Redmi 4G and cautions that this rating is based on specified laboratory conditions and that protection may decline. Samsung’s cited announcement does not give an A37 IP rating. These sources do not establish equivalent durability certifications, so do not treat the two phones as having matching rated protection.

Software support: Samsung states an update commitment
Samsung says the Galaxy A37 receives up to six generations of OS upgrades and long-term security support. That is Samsung’s stated support commitment, not a direct measure of update delivery timing. Xiaomi’s cited Redmi specifications page identifies HyperOS 2 but does not give a comparable number of OS-upgrade generations. The available statements are therefore different in scope, rather than a like-for-like support comparison.
What is the price difference?
There is no supported universal Redmi-versus-Samsung price difference: the evidence does not establish a matching Redmi price in the same market and storage configuration. Samsung announced the following country-specific launch prices in 2026; they are not interchangeable and may no longer match current retail prices.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G if its listed 200MP OIS main camera, 6500mAh typical battery, 45W charging or higher listed storage options suit your priorities—and 4G meets your needs.
- Consider the Galaxy A37 5G if 5G connectivity, its listed rear macro camera or Samsung’s stated OS-upgrade commitment matters most to you.
- Compare the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G separately if you need 5G from Xiaomi. Its processor and network identity differ from the Redmi 4G specifications in this comparison; confirm local model and specifications before buying.
- Decide on price only after checking your market. Compare current prices for the exact models and storage configurations rather than treating prices from different countries as a direct contest.
Because the published specification lists describe different variants and do not include independent comparative tests, they support a decision based on stated features—not a universal winner for camera quality, speed, battery life or overall value.
