Display: Xiaomi offers more screen area and resolution
Xiaomi’s official UAE specifications list a 6.83-inch display with 2772 × 1280 resolution and refresh rates up to 120Hz. 91mobiles lists the Galaxy A57 with a 6.7-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED Plus display. On those published figures, Xiaomi’s screen is larger and higher in resolution, while both are listed as supporting a 120Hz refresh rate.

Brightness, color accuracy and outdoor readability cannot be judged from these figures alone. If those are priorities, compare independent tests or inspect the exact regional phones in person rather than assuming resolution or display branding settles image quality.

Xiaomi lists a 200MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera on its UAE page. 91mobiles reports a 50MP main, 12MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro camera for the Galaxy A57, along with a 12MP front camera; Xiaomi lists a 32MP front camera.

The Galaxy’s reported rear setup includes a dedicated macro camera, while Xiaomi’s listed main camera has optical image stabilization. But megapixel counts do not establish which phone takes better photos: sensor size, lens quality, image processing and performance in different lighting matter too. The available figures do not provide controlled camera results that would support a universal winner.
Battery and charging: Redmi has the larger stated capacity
Xiaomi specifies a 6,500mAh typical battery and 100W HyperCharge for the Redmi Note 15 Pro+. 91mobiles reports a 5,000mAh battery and 45W charging for the Galaxy A57. Those capacities and charging ratings favor the Redmi on paper, but battery life depends on workload, settings, network conditions and test method. Capacity alone cannot establish how long either phone lasts in everyday use.

91mobiles lists Geekbench multi-core scores of 4,540 for the Galaxy A57 and 3,272 for the Redmi Note 15 Pro+. These are results reported by that comparison source; the captured material does not provide enough testing conditions to treat them as universal. They do not guarantee the same difference in games, camera processing, everyday apps or sustained workloads.

Software, durability and what to verify locally
Xiaomi’s India page lists HyperOS 3 and IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings for the India product. Xiaomi cautions that ingress protection depends on test conditions and can degrade. Its India page also says the package includes an adapter, USB-C cable, SIM tool and protective case; regional box contents may differ.
The available sources do not establish a comparable Galaxy A57 software version, update commitment, protection rating or regional configuration. Samsung has a product page titled Galaxy A57 5G with a Tech Specs section, but its detailed specification text was not available in the captured page content. Check Samsung’s official specifications for your country and the precise SKU before relying on a comparison of long-term support, durability or included accessories.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ if the official Xiaomi figures match your local variant and you prioritize its 6.83-inch 1.5K-class display, 6,500mAh typical battery, 100W charging or 200MP OIS main camera.
- Consider the Galaxy A57 if Samsung’s regional specifications suit your needs and you value the higher Geekbench multi-core score reported by 91mobiles or the additional macro camera listed by that source.
- Let price decide only after checking the exact storage configuration, seller, warranty and current offers in your market. The ₹17,000 gap is an India snapshot, not a dependable price difference for every buyer.
Neither specification sheet establishes a complete winner: comparable real-world camera, battery, display and performance testing, as well as Samsung’s confirmed regional specifications, would be needed for a firmer overall verdict.
