This is an India-focused comparison of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and realme P4 5G. On the listed specifications, the P4 offers a larger, faster-refreshing screen, a higher-rated battery capacity and charging, while the Redmi has a sharper display and higher-resolution front camera. The available price snapshots are inconsistent, so there is no dependable price gap to quote without checking current listings for equivalent variants.
How the key specifications compare
The comparison below uses the India-market models. Redmi figures come from the comparison listing; realme specifications are also confirmed on its official India specifications page. Specifications indicate hardware differences, not necessarily a better real-world experience.

Which phone has the better display?
The realme P4 has the larger listed panel and higher maximum refresh rate: 6.77 inches and up to 144 Hz, compared with the Redmi’s 6.67 inches and 120 Hz. The Redmi’s stated 1220 × 2712 resolution is higher than the P4’s 1080 × 2392. These figures favor different preferences: screen size and refresh-rate headroom on realme, pixel resolution on Redmi. They do not by themselves establish which screen looks better in everyday use.
Performance: chipset differences are not a head-to-head result
The comparison identifies a Dimensity 7300 Ultra in the Redmi and a Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G in the P4. realme’s product page also promotes a “778,000+” AnTuTu score and a claim of up to seven hours of BGMI at a stated stable 144 FPS. These are manufacturer-originated claims, attributed to realme Lab or realme, and are not matched independent tests against the Redmi. The available evidence therefore does not establish an overall performance winner.

Camera hardware: what the megapixel counts do and do not say
Both phones are listed with a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide or wide-angle camera. The comparison listing additionally gives the Redmi a 2 MP macro camera. It lists a 20 MP Redmi selfie camera versus 16 MP on realme; realme confirms its rear and front camera specifications on its official page. Resolution and camera count alone cannot establish photo quality, and no comparative image test is available here.
Battery capacity and charging
The listed battery specifications favor the P4: realme gives a typical capacity of 7000 mAh, a minimum of 6830 mAh and 80 W charging, while the comparison listing gives the Redmi 5500 mAh and 45 W. Capacity and charging-power ratings are not the same as measured battery life or time to recharge. Neither source provides a controlled, matched test of endurance or charging time for these two phones.

Storage, software and support
realme officially lists 6 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, with realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. The comparison listing describes its Redmi configuration as 128 GB and Android 14; it does not establish a directly equivalent RAM configuration. It also reports three years of OS updates and four years of security updates for both models. Check the current support policy with Xiaomi and realme before relying on those durations, since the manufacturer specifications page cited here does not confirm them.

The available comparison-page snapshots contain inconsistent prices, retailers and availability, including a version that showed the realme unavailable. They do not support a reliable current price or price difference. To make a useful comparison, check the phones on the same day and match RAM and storage as closely as possible. Record each seller, stock status and any sale, bank or exchange offer; then subtract the Redmi’s verified price from the P4’s verified price. A headline price without those details may not reflect what you can actually buy.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the realme P4 5G if the listed larger 144 Hz display, higher battery-capacity rating, faster charging rating, or its officially specified 256 GB option matter most to you.
- Consider the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G if its higher stated display resolution or higher front-camera megapixel count better fits your priorities.
- Compare current listings before deciding on value. The available price information does not establish which model is cheaper today, and the hardware figures do not substitute for matched performance, camera, battery or display testing.
