For India-market versions, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G brings a larger display, a higher stated peak-brightness figure, a larger rated battery and a longer stated software-support period. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G counters with 120W charging, a listed macro camera and specified LPDDR5/UFS 3.1 memory and storage. Xiaomi India listed the Note 15 Pro+ 8GB/256GB at ₹39,999 on October 7, 2026; a matched current Note 13 Pro+ price was not established, so there is no reliable price difference to quote.
India-spec comparison at a glance
This comparison uses Xiaomi’s India-market specifications. Configurations, network support, prices and box contents can differ elsewhere. These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not results from comparative testing.

What changes matter most?
A bigger screen, but brightness figures are not a shared test
The Note 15 Pro+ is 0.16 inches larger diagonally and has a slightly higher listed resolution. Both displays support up to 120Hz. Xiaomi lists peak brightness as 3200 nits for the newer phone and 1800 nits for the older one, but the product pages do not establish that those figures were measured using the same method. Treat them as manufacturer specifications rather than a direct visibility test.
Camera hardware overlaps; specifications do not settle photo quality
Both phones list a 200MP optically stabilized main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide. The Note 13 Pro+ additionally lists a 2MP macro camera, while the Note 15 Pro+ lists a 32MP front camera compared with 16MP on the Note 13 Pro+. The newer model’s rear-video specification is 4K at 30fps; the older model lists 4K at 24 or 30fps. Those figures describe available modes, not how good photos or video look in practice.

Different chips, without a proven speed winner
The Note 13 Pro+ specifies a Dimensity 7200-Ultra alongside LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage. The Note 15 Pro+ specifies a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. Both list the same three India storage configurations, but no comparable benchmark evidence establishes which is faster under real workloads.
More rated capacity versus higher charging wattage
Xiaomi lists a typical 6500mAh battery and 100W in-box charger for the Note 15 Pro+, compared with 5000mAh typical and 120W HyperCharge for the Note 13 Pro+. This is a paper trade-off: capacity and charging wattage alone do not establish comparative battery endurance or charging time.

More ingress ratings, with important limits
The Note 15 Pro+ page lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K; the Note 13 Pro+ lists IP68. Xiaomi cautions that protection claims rely on laboratory conditions and may degrade with wear. Ratings are not a reason to deliberately submerge either phone, and liquid damage outside applicable conditions may not be covered by warranty.

Consider the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ if
- You want the larger display and the higher peak-brightness figure Xiaomi lists.
- You prefer the larger stated battery capacity, while recognizing it is not a measured endurance result.
- You value the listed eSIM option or Xiaomi’s longer stated OS and security-support commitment. eSIM availability depends on market and carrier, and update delivery should be checked for your region.
- You want the newer model’s listed set of ingress ratings and Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ may suit you if
- You prioritize its listed 120W charging specification over the newer model’s larger rated battery.
- You want the specifically listed LPDDR5/UFS 3.1 configuration or a dedicated macro camera.
- You find it at a lower verified local price for the same storage tier. The available India price evidence does not establish that it is cheaper today.
For a confident buying decision, compare current listings for the same storage tier and check the seller, warranty and network-band fit. Independent tests would be needed to decide sustained performance, camera output and battery endurance; the specifications alone cannot answer those questions.

Price difference in India
On October 7, 2026, Xiaomi India’s store listed the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G Carbon Black, 8GB/256GB, at ₹39,999, with ₹49,999 shown as a crossed-out reference price. This was a time-sensitive retail listing, not a guaranteed transaction price. The checked store page did not provide a current Note 13 Pro+ listing at a matching storage tier, so a current price gap cannot be calculated responsibly. Check both models’ live prices on the same date before comparing them.

Xiaomi’s India specifications list an adapter, cable, case, SIM tool and documentation with both phones. Confirm the contents for your exact SKU before purchase, because packaging can vary by market. Likewise, do not assume another country’s Note 15 Pro+ has the India model’s chipset, battery, camera, bands or bundle.
