To identify your Redmi phone, open Settings > About phone and find the Model entry. On the REDMI 13C 5G, Xiaomi’s instructions continue through Detailed info and specs. Record the full model value, including letters and suffixes: the precise variant matters more than the broad Redmi family name.
Find the model in Settings
- Open Settings. Choose About phone. Xiaomi gives this as the general route for checking phone details. Xiaomi’s device-details instructions
- Open the detailed specifications if needed. On the REDMI 13C 5G, Xiaomi’s route is About phone > Detailed info and specs; look for the Model field. Xiaomi’s REDMI 13C 5G instructions are an example, not a guarantee that every Redmi software version uses identical menus.
- Copy the value exactly. Keep all letters, numbers and suffixes. A Redmi marketing name alone may not distinguish versions or configurations; Xiaomi says the model number helps identify accurate specifications and accessory compatibility.
If you cannot open the phone
Check the original box or the device label. Xiaomi says the IMEI appears on the bottom of the original packaging, and its authentication guidance also points to a code sticker on the device or box. Model number and IMEI are different
The model field names the phone model or variant. The IMEI is a separate device identifier; seeing it does not, by itself, establish the model name.

Find the IMEI when verification requires it
- Enter
*#06#in the Phone app to display it, as described by Xiaomi. - On the REDMI 13C, Xiaomi documents Settings > About phone > Detailed info and specs > Status > IMEI. Menu wording and availability may differ on other models or software versions. Xiaomi’s REDMI 13C IMEI instructions
Check identity or authenticity with Xiaomi
Xiaomi’s Product Authentication page accepts an IMEI or serial number. The verification options and results may depend on region; Xiaomi does not establish that every regional lookup will return a full model name. Keep these identifiers private—do not post them in a public comment or forum.

If the model still is not clear
- Search Settings for “model” if the listed menus do not match the paths above.
- Use the exact model field and compare it with Xiaomi’s official specifications or support information for your region.
- Do not rely on color, camera layout, or a seller’s listing title alone to distinguish variants.
- If Settings and labels are unavailable or conflict, ask Xiaomi support about the specific phone and software version.
For accessories, check compatibility against the exact model rather than the general Redmi family name; similar product names can refer to different versions.
