The listed specifications favor the realme P4 Pro 5G if you want a larger, higher-refresh-rate screen, more listed memory options, faster charging and a lighter body. NDTV Gadgets360 lists the Moto G Max with Android 16, newer than the P4 Pro’s Android 15-based software, but Motorola’s update commitment and the Moto’s specifications have not been confirmed here by an official product page. A 91mobiles comparison result showed the Moto ₹1,000 cheaper; treat that as a dated price snapshot, not a live offer.

Display size and refresh rate
Realme lists a 6.8-inch panel with up to 144Hz, while NDTV Gadgets360 lists the Moto at 6.72 inches and 120Hz. On the published figures, the P4 Pro offers the larger screen and higher refresh-rate ceiling. Those specifications alone do not establish a difference in brightness, color accuracy, touch response or real-world smoothness.

NDTV Gadgets360 lists the Moto with a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and 6GB/128GB. That gives the realme a higher listed processor tier and more configuration choice, but there are no comparable independent performance tests here; do not treat the spec sheet as a benchmark.
How do the cameras compare?
Realme specifies a 50MP Sony IMX896 main rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP selfie camera. Realme gives the P4 Pro a 7000mAh typical battery capacity and a 6830mAh rated capacity, and advertises charging at up to 80W. Realme says maximum 80W charging requires its 80W charger and original cable; its product information says the adapter is included. Charging speed can depend on conditions, and the 80W figure is a maximum rather than a guarantee for every charging session.

Android versions and updates
Realme specifies realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. NDTV Gadgets360 lists the Moto G Max with Android 16 and Hello UI. That makes Android 16 the newer version in the available listings, but no Motorola update or security-support commitment is established here. A newer starting Android version does not, by itself, prove longer support.

Weight and thickness
Realme lists the P4 Pro at approximately 189g and 7.68mm thick. NDTV Gadgets360 lists the Moto at 213g and 8.60mm. The P4 Pro is therefore listed as lighter and thinner; actual in-hand comfort also depends on shape, materials and case use.
Dust and water resistance
Realme’s product page claims IP65/IP66 protection and includes test and durability caveats; NDTV Gadgets360 lists IP64 for the Moto. These ratings describe tested resistance under specified conditions, not waterproofing or a guarantee against damage. Check each manufacturer’s warranty and care guidance before exposing a phone to water or dust.
Price difference: verify the current offer
A 91mobiles comparison result, crawled roughly one month before October 5, 2026, displayed ₹28,999 for the realme P4 Pro and ₹27,999 for the Moto G Max 5G—a ₹1,000 gap in that snapshot. It was not a verified live retail offer. See the [91mobiles comparison result] and check current seller listings before buying.
For a meaningful like-for-like price check, compare the same RAM and storage configuration, seller, warranty and availability. The available Moto listing gives 6GB/128GB, while realme lists several P4 Pro configurations, so a headline price pair may not represent equivalent versions.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the realme P4 Pro 5G if your priorities are the larger and faster-refresh-rate listed display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, more RAM/storage choices, a higher-resolution selfie camera, faster stated charging, or a thinner and lighter listed body.
- Consider the Moto G Max 5G if its listed Android 16 version or a lower current price matters more to you—but confirm the exact specifications, update policy and retail offer with Motorola or the seller before deciding.
- Wait for stronger evidence if your choice depends on camera results, battery life, sustained performance or long-term software support. The listed specifications do not answer those questions.
