The realme P1 5G is the only one of these two phones with an official realme India product page, so its specifications can be stated as manufacturer claims. The realme 15 Lite’s specifications and price come from third-party comparison pages, which label the phone “Upcoming.” On current evidence, a reliable price difference cannot be stated, and the 15 Lite’s advantages on paper cannot be confirmed against realme’s own documentation.
What is confirmed for each phone
realme P1 5G: official specifications
realme’s India product page for the P1 5G lists a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 2400×1080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The page gives a 2000 nits local peak brightness and a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio. The chipset is the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G, built on a 6nm process with a 2.2GHz CPU. Charging is 45W SUPERVOOC. The battery is rated at 5000mAh typical and 4880mAh rated. The rear camera is 50MP primary with a 2MP secondary, and the selfie camera is 16MP. The page lists IP54 dust and water resistance and names realme UI 5.0 as the software layer.

Three qualifications apply to these numbers. First, realme’s own caveat says the figures are “based on our design specifications, laboratory and supplier test data, and may vary slightly depending on the test software version, specific test environment and specific version.” Second, the 120Hz refresh rate applies only to supported apps and scenarios, not to everything on screen. Third, the charging and battery results are laboratory figures and will not match every user’s daily experience.

A Gadgets Now comparison page, dated 11 September 2026, lists the 15 Lite with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset, 8GB RAM, a 6.67-inch 144Hz OLED display, 80W charging, a 5000mAh battery, a 50MP plus 2MP rear camera, IP65 protection and Android 15. The same page labels the launch date “Upcoming.” These are third-party claims. The search did not turn up an official realme 15 Lite product page, so none of these specifications can be treated as confirmed by the manufacturer.

What the differences would mean in use
A spec sheet shows what a phone is built with, but not how it performs. The comparisons below assume the 15 Lite claims are accurate, and they are not performance tests.
Chipset generation
The 15 Lite’s Dimensity 7300 Energy is listed as a newer, 4nm chip, while the P1’s Dimensity 7050 is a 6nm chip. A newer process node can help efficiency, but it does not automatically mean faster apps, better gaming, or longer battery life. No benchmark in the sources compares the two chips under the same conditions, so no performance winner can be named.
Display refresh rate
Both phones use a 2400×1080 panel at 6.67 inches. The difference is refresh rate: 144Hz for the 15 Lite according to the comparison listing, and 120Hz for the P1 according to realme. Higher refresh rates make scrolling and animation look smoother, but the benefit depends on the app and on whether the phone actually runs at that rate in a given app. The P1’s 120Hz figure carries the same app-and-scenario limit described above.

Charging speed
The 80W figure for the 15 Lite is higher than the P1’s 45W. Faster charging only helps if the charger, cable, and phone all support the rated power. The P1 figure is an official laboratory claim, and the 15 Lite figure is a listing claim, so neither tells a buyer how long a real charge will take.
Dust and water protection
IP54 and IP65 are both IP ratings, but they differ. The first digit covers dust: 5 means dust protected against harmful deposits, and 6 means dust-tight. The second digit covers water: 4 means protection against splashing water, and 5 means protection against low-pressure water jets. IP65 is therefore the stronger rating, if the 15 Lite’s listing is correct. Because the 15 Lite rating has not been checked against a manufacturer document, buyers should not rely on it until realme confirms it.
Software and support
The P1’s official page names realme UI 5.0. The Android 14 version comes from a comparison page, not from realme’s product page. The 15 Lite’s Android 15 claim is also from a comparison listing. Software updates are a separate question from the launch version, and no update commitment for either phone was found in the sources checked.
Price difference: what the listings show
The Gadgets Now page shows ₹16,789 for the 15 Lite and ₹23,990 for the P1. That pair implies a gap of ₹7,201, but it should not be used as a price difference. The page is dated 11 September 2026, the 15 Lite is marked “Upcoming,” and the P1 price is for one selected listing without a confirmed storage or RAM configuration. Another search result showed different prices and marked the 15 Lite as out of stock.
Rank #3
Realme has not published an official launch price for the 15 Lite in the sources checked, so the ₹16,789 figure cannot be treated as a launch price. The P1 price varies by seller and configuration.
How to check the current price yourself
- Open realme’s official India website and confirm that the P1 5G is listed for sale. Then check whether the 15 Lite has a product page there. If it does not, the 15 Lite is not yet confirmed as an available model in India.
- Pick the same RAM and storage configuration for both phones. If the 15 Lite is only offered with 8GB RAM, compare it with the P1 configuration that matches as closely as possible.
- Check at least two sellers for each phone. Record the price, the seller name, and the date you checked.
- Confirm that the phone is in stock with the seller before comparing prices.
- Treat bank offers, exchange discounts, and coupons as separate from the listed price. They change the effective price and often expire.
Which phone to choose
On current evidence, the choice depends on whether you need the 15 Lite’s claimed features badly enough to wait for official confirmation.
- Buy the P1 5G if you want a phone whose specifications are published by realme, and you find a current seller price you accept for the configuration you need.
- Wait on the 15 Lite if it is not on realme’s India site or sold by a reputable seller. Its higher refresh rate, faster charging, IP65 rating, and newer chipset are all attractive, but they have not been confirmed by the manufacturer.
- Choose the 15 Lite only after you have confirmed it is officially available in your market, the storage and RAM options match your needs, the seller and price are current, and realme’s documentation matches the listing’s specifications.
- Check camera results before deciding. Both phones are listed with 50MP rear cameras, and megapixel count alone does not show image quality. Compare sample photos from reviews of the exact models you are considering.
Until realme publishes a full specification sheet for the 15 Lite, the P1 is the only one of the two whose specifications can be stated with a manufacturer as the source.
