The realme GT 2 Pro 5G and realme P4 Pro 5G make different trade-offs: the GT 2 Pro lists a sharper WQHD+ display and a distinctive 150-degree ultrawide camera, while the P4 Pro lists a faster 144Hz screen, larger battery, faster charging and Android 15-based software. In India, realme’s Days Sale 2026 page lists the P4 Pro at ₹28,999, but a current GT 2 Pro price was not established, so there is no reliable current price difference to quote.

Which display is the better fit?

Choose the GT 2 Pro for listed resolution and adaptive refresh

The GT 2 Pro’s 3216 × 1440 resolution is the higher listed pixel count, which may appeal if fine detail is your priority. Its LTPO 2.0 panel is specified to adapt from 1Hz to 120Hz rather than staying at one refresh rate.

Choose the P4 Pro for a higher listed refresh ceiling and curved design

The P4 Pro lists a 144Hz refresh rate and a curved display. That is a higher maximum refresh rate on paper, but it does not by itself establish that the screen looks sharper or that every app and game runs at 144Hz. The choice is between the GT 2 Pro’s higher resolution and adaptive range and the P4 Pro’s higher listed refresh ceiling and screen shape.

Battery capacity and charging favor the P4 Pro on paper

The P4 Pro lists a 7000mAh typical battery and 80W charging, compared with the GT 2 Pro’s 5000mAh typical battery and 65W charging. The GT 2 Pro page also gives a realme Lab claim of a full charge in 33 minutes under its test conditions; that figure is not a guarantee for every charger, temperature or usage situation.

Higher capacity does not prove longer real-world endurance by itself. Screen settings, network conditions, workloads and battery age all matter, particularly if comparing a new P4 Pro with a used or older GT 2 Pro.

Camera strengths depend on what you shoot

GT 2 Pro: an explicitly wide ultrawide and microscope feature

Its listed 50MP ultrawide has a 150-degree field of view, and the phone includes a microscope/micro-lens feature with 40x magnification. Those specifications point to different kinds of shots beyond a conventional main camera.

P4 Pro: main-camera and video claims

The P4 Pro product page highlights a 50MP Sony IMX896 OIS main camera, another 50MP rear camera, a 50MP selfie camera and support for 4K 60fps recording. The listed hardware and recording modes do not establish which phone produces better photos or video; that requires comparable sample testing.

Performance and software: compare the actual devices, not just chip tiers

The GT 2 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, a flagship-class platform at its launch. The newer P4 Pro lists a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 alongside a dedicated Hyper Vision AI chip. Chip tier labels alone do not settle which phone feels faster in a particular app, sustains performance under load or handles a specific game better; no independent head-to-head benchmark is established here.

The software versions listed are also far apart: realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 for the GT 2 Pro and Android 15-based software for the P4 Pro. These listings describe the software associated with each product page; they do not establish the current installed version on a particular handset or how much update support remains. Check the phone’s current software and realme’s support information before purchasing, especially for an older or used GT 2 Pro.

What is the price difference in India?

realme India’s Days Sale 2026 page lists the P4 Pro 5G at ₹28,999. This is a time-sensitive sale listing, not a guaranteed ongoing price. The reviewed official information does not establish a current GT 2 Pro price or stock, so subtracting a historic or launch price from the P4 Pro sale figure would not produce a valid current comparison.

Before comparing listings, match the country, RAM and storage configuration, seller type, warranty and condition. A GT 2 Pro listing may be for used, refurbished or remaining stock rather than a new unit with equivalent coverage. The P4 Pro’s historic ₹19,999 starting promotional price on realme India’s Big Diwali Sale 2025 is not a current price.

Quick Recap

Which phone should you choose?

  • Favor the GT 2 Pro if its WQHD+ resolution, adaptive LTPO display, 150-degree ultrawide or microscope feature matters most—and you can verify that the particular unit’s condition, price and warranty make sense.
  • Favor the P4 Pro if you prioritize the larger listed battery, 80W charging, 144Hz display or newer listed Android version, and its current India price and availability suit you.
  • Wait to compare prices directly if the decision depends on a numerical price gap: confirm current listings for both phones in the same market and equivalent condition first.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
