The realme C85 and vivo X300 FE target very different budgets. In the India listings consulted, the C85 was ₹19,990 and the X300 FE was ₹94,999—a displayed gap of ₹75,009. The X300 FE has the more premium listed display, processor and camera system, while the Malaysia-listed C85 offers a larger screen and higher typical battery capacity. Because C85 specifications differ across market listings, check the exact local model before comparing chipsets or buying.
India price difference: ₹75,009 in the listings consulted
91mobiles displayed an Amazon price of ₹19,990 for the realme C85 in India, while it displayed ₹94,999 for the vivo X300 FE. The ₹75,009 difference is calculated from those two observed prices, not a fixed price gap. vivo’s India store also displayed ₹94,999 for the X300 FE 12GB+256GB configuration, with an MRP of ₹119,999. Prices, stock and seller offers can change; check the current listing and exact configuration before purchase.

The price comparison is not perfectly like-for-like: the observed C85 price is an Amazon listing, while vivo’s official India store price is for a specified 12GB+256GB X300 FE. The 91mobiles page also lists Amazon prices for both. Compare the seller, RAM and storage, warranty, and final checkout price for the actual options available to you. Specifications at a glance—and an important C85 variant difference
The table separates the official Malaysia C85 specification from India-specific price and configuration information. Do not treat the Malaysia-listed C85 as a universal version: realme says configurations vary by country and region, and the India comparison listing gives a different processor.

Which C85 chipset is listed for India?
This is a material specification discrepancy, not a detail to smooth over. realme’s official Malaysia page lists the Snapdragon 685. The India entry on the 91mobiles comparison page instead lists the Dimensity 6300. realme’s regional-configuration disclaimer supports treating markets separately, but it does not independently establish which chipset is in every India C85 SKU. Confirm the exact model number and chipset with the seller or official local product information before relying on a performance comparison.
Where the X300 FE has the specification advantage
Display detail and format
The X300 FE’s Singapore-listed 6.31-inch AMOLED panel has substantially higher resolution than the Malaysia C85’s 6.8-inch, 1570 × 720 LCD. That points to a sharper, more compact display on paper; the C85 gives more screen area and a higher listed maximum refresh rate. Refresh rate alone does not establish overall display quality.

The X300 FE’s listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is a flagship-tier processor, and its three rear cameras include a telephoto camera. The cited C85 Malaysia page lists a single 50MP rear camera. These specifications indicate differences in processing tier and camera options, but they do not prove real-world speed or image quality.

Charging options
The Singapore X300 FE specification lists both 90W wired and 40W wireless charging; vivo India lists 90W wired charging. The Malaysia C85 page lists up to 45W wired charging. Wireless charging is a listed X300 FE feature in the Singapore specifications, not an established feature for every regional version.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Where the Malaysia-listed C85 may make more sense
If your priority is a lower observed India listing price, a larger display or higher nominal battery capacity, the C85 may be the more relevant option to investigate. The official Malaysia page lists 7000mAh typical capacity and a 6.8-inch screen, compared with 6500mAh typical capacity and a 6.31-inch screen for the X300 FE pages consulted. Capacity and screen size do not establish battery endurance: that depends on the exact variant and use, and no comparable hands-on battery tests for these regional models are established here.
Which one should you choose?
- Consider the realme C85 if keeping the listed purchase price low, having a larger screen, or prioritizing high nominal battery capacity matters most. Verify the local C85 chipset, bands, warranty and configuration rather than assuming the Malaysia specifications match the phone sold in India or elsewhere.
- Consider the vivo X300 FE if you are willing to pay substantially more for the listed flagship processor, higher-resolution AMOLED display, telephoto camera and—where confirmed for your market—wireless charging.
This is a specification-based comparison, not a tested verdict on sustained performance, camera results or battery life. The consulted C85 and X300 FE pages also come from different regional markets, so confirm local connectivity, configuration and water-resistance details before deciding.

vivo’s Singapore specification page lists IP68/IP69 and cautions: “The resistance to splashes and water is not permanent and may be reduced due to daily use.” This is the Singapore page’s rating and warning; it does not establish identical protection for every market’s X300 FE.
