Its India launch prices in March 2021 were ₹17,999 for 6GB/128GB and ₹19,999 for 8GB/128GB. Later listings are inconsistent and report the phone out of stock, so neither launch price nor a dated listing should be treated as a live offer.

What the 108MP camera does—and does not—mean
The main camera uses Samsung’s ISOCELL HM2 sensor, which realme identifies as a 1/1.52-inch sensor with a maximum resolution of 12,000 × 9,000 pixels. The manufacturer describes nine adjacent 0.7µm pixels combining into a simulated 2.1µm pixel through 9-in-1 pixel binning. The phone also advertises 3X in-sensor zoom. That is not a dedicated optical telephoto camera.
The other rear cameras are an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro and a 2MP black-and-white lens. These are manufacturer-stated specifications, not a guarantee of image quality in every scene. Gadgets 360’s review summary characterizes camera performance as mixed; that is the reviewer’s assessment, not a standardized measurement.

Display, charging and physical details
The 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel is listed with 180Hz touch sampling and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Touch sampling describes how frequently the display can register touch input; it is distinct from the screen’s refresh rate. The cited specifications do not provide a refresh-rate figure here.
Realme specifies a 4,500mAh battery and 50W SuperDart Charge, and says the box includes a 65W adapter. Charging-time figures advertised by the manufacturer are laboratory results and can vary with conditions and usage; they should not be read as a guaranteed everyday charging time.

Which realme 8 Pro variant should you look for?
The documented configurations differ in RAM, not listed storage: both have 128GB, while one has 6GB RAM and the other 8GB. The launch-price gap was ₹2,000 in March 2021, but that historical difference does not establish a current price premium. Current prices and stock for either configuration are not established by the dated listings above.
