Which phone has the better display, cameras and battery specs?
Display
realme specifies the higher maximum refresh rate: 144Hz versus Nothing’s adaptive 120Hz. That difference describes refresh-rate ceilings, not overall screen quality. Panel performance, brightness, calibration and how each phone uses adaptive refresh matter too; the quoted specifications alone do not establish which display looks better or feels smoother in every situation.

Cameras
realme lists a 200MP main camera and 50MP front camera, while Nothing lists 50MP main and ultrawide rear cameras and a 16MP front camera. Nothing’s ultrawide has the wider stated field of view, 119° versus realme’s 112°. Pixel counts and camera specifications do not prove which phone takes better photos. Compare samples from both phones in the kinds of light and situations you care about; also check video features relevant to your use.
Battery and charging
For India, realme lists a 7000mAh typical battery capacity (6830mAh rated) and 80W charging. Nothing’s product material gives a 6000mAh battery for its India variant; its standard battery claim is 5200mAh. These are region-specific capacity figures, not a direct test of runtime. Capacity alone cannot establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use, and charging wattage does not tell you the full charging time.

How do their software and distinctive features differ?
realme’s India specifications identify realme UI 7.0. Nothing highlights Nothing OS, Essential AI tools and its Glyph Bar, alongside gaming-related features on its product material. Nothing calls Phone (4b) “our longest-lasting phone yet”; that is the company’s marketing statement, not an independently verified comparison with realme 16 Pro. The available specifications do not establish a like-for-like comparison of software-support duration, so check each manufacturer’s current policy for the exact market and variant before buying.

Do not subtract the UK price from the India launch figure or present either as a current same-country comparison. To work out the difference for your purchase, compare current prices in your country for matching storage configurations, then account for whether each price is a list price or includes an offer.

- Included accessories. realme India says the box includes the phone, charger, SIM ejector tool, protective case and quick guide, while noting contents may vary by market. Confirm the package for your region.
Which one should you choose?
On advertised specifications, realme 16 Pro 5G is the more suitable starting point if you prioritize a higher refresh-rate ceiling, high-resolution main and front cameras, or—specifically in India—a larger stated battery and 80W wired charging. Nothing Phone (4b) is the more natural fit if you want its Glyph Bar, Nothing OS and Essential AI features, or the wider stated ultrawide-camera field of view. Neither spec sheet settles real-world camera quality, battery endurance or performance; those depend on testing and use, and no directly comparable independent results are established here.
