The realme lists a 6.8-inch 144Hz display and a 7000mAh battery. The OPPO lists a 6.32-inch-class 120Hz display, a 6200mAh battery, a 50MP autofocus ultrawide and a 50MP autofocus selfie camera. No matched pair of current official prices is available, so this article does not state a price gap. It shows how to measure that gap yourself.

The figures come from the manufacturers’ own specification pages: realme’s global and India pages for the 16 Pro+ 5G, and OPPO India’s page for the Reno15 Pro Mini 5G (model CPH2813). They are claims, not test results.

Display and size
This is the clearest difference. The realme’s 6.8-inch panel gives more room for video, games and reading, and its 144Hz ceiling is higher than OPPO’s 120Hz. The OPPO’s roughly 6.32-inch screen points to a phone that is easier to use one-handed and to carry. Both are FHD+ AMOLED, so sharpness is not the deciding factor. Refresh rate is a maximum. Many apps and games will not run at 144Hz, so the 120Hz versus 144Hz gap matters mostly for supported games.
Cameras
The two phones list the same headline hardware: a 200MP main camera and a 50MP stabilized telephoto. Megapixel counts alone do not decide image quality. Sensor size, lens, processing and tuning all matter, and no independent camera test was available for this pairing.

Where the specs differ is the ultrawide and the front camera:
- Ultrawide: OPPO lists 50MP with autofocus. realme lists 8MP. On paper the OPPO should handle wide shots better, and autofocus can allow close-up shots.
- Selfie: Both are 50MP, but only OPPO lists autofocus. The realme’s India spec says autofocus is not supported, which can matter for group shots and close selfies.
If you use the ultrawide or front camera often, the OPPO’s published hardware is the more complete. If you mostly shoot with the main and telephoto lenses, the camera gap narrows.

Battery and charging
The realme’s typical capacity is 7000mAh against 6200mAh, about 13% more on paper. Both list 80W wired charging. Typical capacity is a rating, not a runtime. A bigger screen at a higher refresh rate also draws more power, so the real-world gap could be smaller or larger than the capacity figures suggest. Charging time to 100% is not established for either phone here.

Performance
The realme uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and the OPPO a MediaTek Dimensity 8450. They are different platforms and no independent benchmark has been established for this comparison. realme’s product page shows a manufacturer AnTuTu figure, but it is promotional and cannot be treated as a fair head-to-head. Treat performance as unresolved until independent reviews of both phones are available, and look for sustained-load and gaming results rather than a single score.

Price difference: how to compare it fairly
No official current selling price for both phones was established. Third-party aggregators such as 91mobiles show Amazon-referenced prices, but those differ between snapshots and configurations and shouldn’t be read as official. A raw gap between the cheapest listing of one phone and a different variant of the other would mislead. To get an accurate figure:
- Pick the same market. The specs here are for India, and prices elsewhere will differ.
- Match the memory tier. The realme comes in 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB. Compare against the OPPO variant with the same RAM and storage.
- Use the same retailer on the same day, and note whether the price includes bank or exchange offers.
- Compare the effective price after offers separately from the list price.
Also weigh what the price buys. A larger display and battery on the realme versus better ultrawide and selfie hardware on the OPPO may be worth different amounts to you.

Naming caveat
OPPO’s global January 5, 2026 Reno15 series announcement names the Reno15 Pro Max, Reno15 Pro, Reno15 and Reno15 F. The Reno15 Pro Mini 5G (CPH2813) is identified on OPPO’s India page. Model names and specs can differ by country, so confirm the exact model on a listing before buying. Do not confuse this phone with the standard Reno15 5G, which is a different device.

Which should you choose?
- Choose the realme 16 Pro+ 5G if you want the larger 6.8-inch screen, the 144Hz ceiling and the higher stated battery capacity.
- Choose the OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini 5G if you want a smaller phone, an autofocus 50MP ultrawide and an autofocus selfie camera.
These are specification-based pointers, not verdicts on real-world camera quality, battery life or speed. The deciding factor will be the live price of matched variants on the day you buy.
