Both have a 6.8-inch 144Hz display, a 7000mAh typical battery, 80W charging and realme UI 6.0 on Android 15. The differences that a spec sheet can actually show are the chipset (MediaTek Dimensity 7300+ on the realme 15, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 on the P4 Pro), the main rear camera sensor, and the highest rear video mode listed. The price gap is a different matter: one marketplace snapshot shows the P4 Pro ₹1,000 cheaper, but that figure does not prove the two phones are being compared at the same configuration or at a current checkout price.

The differences that show up on paper
Chipset
The P4 Pro uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, which realme lists at up to 2.8GHz. The realme 15 uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300+, listed at up to 2.5GHz. Both are 4nm parts, so the clock speed and platform name are the clearest published differences. A higher clock speed or a newer platform name does not, by itself, translate into faster apps, smoother gaming or better thermal behaviour in daily use. Those outcomes depend on the software, cooling and the configuration you buy.
Main camera sensor and rear video
Both phones use a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation, paired with an 8MP ultrawide and a 50MP front camera. The sensors differ: the realme 15 lists the Sony IMX882, while the P4 Pro lists the Sony IMX896. The sensor model is a useful detail for readers who care about hardware, but the spec sheets do not state how the two sensors compare in photos, so a sensor name alone does not settle which camera takes better pictures.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.78 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 6.78 inches
- 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM
- Android 16, Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Max (4 nm), Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Max (4 nm)

The clearer difference is video. realme’s P4 Pro page lists rear video up to 4K at 60fps. The realme 15 page lists up to 4K at 30fps. If you shoot smooth 4K footage regularly, that is the one camera line item where the spec sheets diverge in a way that matters for use.
What the two phones share
The display is the same on paper: a 6.8-inch panel at 1280 × 2800 with a maximum refresh rate of up to 144Hz. realme’s published peak brightness figure is also the same for both. These are manufacturer figures. Actual brightness and refresh behaviour can change with the content on screen, the power mode selected and the environment.
Battery and charging are also matched on the spec pages. Both list a 7000mAh typical capacity, a 6830mAh minimum or rated figure, 80W charging and an adapter included in the box. The software base is realme UI 6.0 on Android 15 for both. Because the RAM and storage tiers listed are identical, you can compare the two phones at the same memory level without guessing.
Performance: what can and cannot be said
The P4 Pro’s higher-tier named chipset is the reason many readers will lean its way, but the official specification pages are not independent benchmarks. They name the processor and its clock speed; they do not measure how fast either phone runs.
91mobiles, in its comparison coverage, reports better Geekbench multi-core scores for the P4 Pro. That is a publisher-reported result. Benchmark numbers depend on the test version, device settings, temperature and how many runs were averaged, so treat the finding as a single outlet’s report rather than a settled ranking. No independent benchmark or hands-on camera test is cited in the sources behind this comparison, so this article does not declare a winner on performance or photo quality.
Battery and charging claims
Both 7000mAh typical ratings and both 80W charging claims come from realme’s own specification pages. realme’s product copy includes its own brightness, charging and battery-life claims and notes that results vary with the environment and usage. Read those as manufacturer claims. A rated capacity tells you how much charge the battery is designed to hold; it does not tell you how many hours the phone will last on your usage pattern. No independently verified real-world battery test for either model is established in the sources, so there is no evidence here that one phone outlasts the other.

The comparison page at 91mobiles lists the realme 15 at ₹29,999 and the P4 Pro at ₹28,999, with both prices associated with Flipkart. That is a ₹1,000 gap in the P4 Pro’s favour. Three caveats apply to that number:

1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteQuick Recap
- It is a marketplace snapshot, not an official launch price. Marketplace prices change with offers, bank discounts, seller and stock.
- The page does not clearly identify which RAM and storage configuration each price belongs to. A ₹1,000 gap is only meaningful if both prices refer to the same memory and storage tier.
- realme’s launch announcement for the realme 15 5G is dated July 24, 2025, and it is not the source of the current price. Do not treat it as a current price reference.
How to check the real price before you buy
- Pick one RAM and storage tier first, for example 8GB/128GB, and use it for both phones.
- Open each phone’s listing on the retailer you plan to buy from, and confirm the model name on the listing matches the 5G variant you are comparing.
- Note the final checkout price after bank and exchange offers are applied, not the list price shown on the product card.
- Check the seller, stock status and delivery estimate, and confirm the warranty terms and return window are the same for both listings.
- Repeat the check on a different day if the gap is small. A ₹1,000 difference can shift as offers change.
Which one to choose
- Choose the P4 Pro if you want the higher-tier named chipset, plan to shoot 4K at 60fps, and the matched-configuration price on your retailer is at or below the realme 15’s.
- Choose the realme 15 if the same display, battery, charging and software are what you need and the price on your retailer is equal or lower for the configuration you want. The spec sheet does not show a disadvantage that would justify paying more for the P4 Pro at equal price.
- Do not decide on benchmarks or camera quality alone, because the sources here do not provide independent results for either.
Sources and limits
- Hardware and software specifications come from realme India’s official product specification pages for the realme 15 5G and realme P4 Pro 5G.
- Battery, brightness and charging performance statements are realme’s own claims, conditional on environment and usage.
- Price, the ₹1,000 gap and the Geekbench comparison come from 91mobiles, a secondary source whose figures are publisher-reported.
- No independent hands-on testing, real-world battery test or verified variant-to-price mapping is established in the sources behind this article. Confirm live prices and stock at the retailer before buying.
