Which phone has the better screen and processor?
Display: realme 15 Pro on paper
The 15 Pro lists a larger 6.8-inch panel, higher 1280 × 2800 resolution and a maximum 144 Hz refresh rate. The realme 16 lists a 6.69-inch flexible AMOLED at 1080 × 2372 and up to 120 Hz. That makes the 15 Pro the more ambitious specification for screen size, detail and maximum refresh rate; these numbers alone do not establish how every app or use case will look or feel.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.78 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 6.78 inches
- 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM
- Android 16, Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Max (4 nm), Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Max (4 nm)
- Rear: 200 MP, f/1.9, 23mm (wide), 1/1.56", 0.5µm, dual-pixel PDAF, OIS, 8 MP, 112˚, (ultrawide), 1/4.0", 1.12µm, Front: 50 MP, f/2.4, 23mm (wide), 1/2.88", 0.61µm
Processor: stronger listed platform on the 15 Pro
The 15 Pro’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 is the more capable-looking platform in the listed specifications compared with the realme 16’s Dimensity 6400 Turbo. Without comparable independent testing, however, the spec sheets do not establish a measured speed difference in games, apps or everyday use.
How do the cameras differ?
The clearest hardware distinction is the extra field of view on the 15 Pro: it has a 50 MP ultra-wide camera alongside its 50 MP Sony IMX896 main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). That dedicated ultra-wide is useful when framing a broad landscape or a group in a tight space. The realme 16 pairs a 50 MP wide main camera with a 2 MP monochrome module, rather than listing an ultra-wide camera. Both phones list a 50 MP front camera. Megapixel counts and lens types do not by themselves prove which phone takes better-looking photos.

Battery, charging and storage
Both phones list a 7000 mAh typical battery capacity, so capacity is nominally equal. That figure does not show which will last longer in actual use; no comparable endurance result is established here. The 15 Pro lists 80 W charging and says the 80 W adapter is included, versus 60 W charging for the realme 16. The 15 Pro also offers a 512 GB option and UFS 3.1 storage, while the realme 16 lists up to 256 GB with UFS 2.2. Check the precise configuration on sale, since storage capacity affects whether a price comparison is fair.
What is the price difference in India?
On the 91mobiles comparison page accessed on 2026-10-04, the realme 16 was shown at ₹36,999 on Amazon. The realme 15 Pro was shown at ₹33,999 but marked out of stock or not available in stores. These are volatile listing figures, and the configurations were not clearly matched, so subtracting them would not produce a reliable saving or like-for-like price difference. See the 91mobiles comparison listing and verify current stock and checkout price before buying.

- You value a dedicated ultra-wide rear camera or OIS on the main camera.
