What the display and processor mean
The 6.7-inch curved screen and 120Hz refresh rate are the headline display specifications on realme’s official product page. A 120Hz panel can refresh more frequently than a standard 60Hz screen, which can make supported scrolling and animations appear smoother. India Today gives the resolution as 1080 × 2412; the official page advertises the size and refresh rate.

The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 is a 4nm processor, according to realme. That identifies the chip and manufacturing process, but does not by itself establish how fast the phone will feel in every app or game. 91mobiles reports an AnTuTu score of 617,481 and a PCMark battery result of 11.6 hours; those are publisher-reported test results that depend on the test setup, not guarantees of everyday performance or battery life. See 91mobiles’ specifications and test page.

The rear array combines two 50MP cameras with an 8MP ultra-wide. The main camera has optical image stabilization (OIS), while the second 50MP camera is a periscope telephoto design. A periscope camera gives the phone a dedicated telephoto perspective rather than relying only on digital cropping from the main camera. realme names the main sensor Sony LYT-701; India Today lists Sony LYT-600 for the periscope camera. The front-facing camera is 32MP.

Battery, charging and IP65 limits
realme specifies a 5200mAh typical battery and 80W SUPERVOOC charging. Its footnote gives the battery’s rated capacity as 5050mAh; typical and rated figures are different measurements, so they should not be treated as interchangeable. Charging speed and battery endurance in practice depend on usage and conditions.

The phone carries an IP65 dust- and water-resistance rating. realme qualifies this as splash-proof and dust-resistant under normal usage conditions, and says resistance may decline with wear. The manufacturer advises against beach or pool use and says liquid-immersion damage is not covered by warranty. IP65 is not a claim that the phone is waterproof or safe to submerge. Why the October 2026 price needs checking
Gadgets 360’s page, accessed 7 October 2026 and showing a 6 October 2026 price snapshot, has conflicting figures: its summary says the phone starts at ₹36,999, while its variant table includes lower-priced options, including a ₹23,999 listing. Because the summary and table disagree, neither figure should be presented as a verified current starting price. Prices and stock can differ by RAM/storage configuration, colour and seller. Confirm the live listing for the precise variant you intend to buy.
| Price reference | What it establishes |
|---|---|
| ₹29,999 | India Today-reported launch price on 30 July 2024; historical |
| ₹36,999 starting price | Gadgets 360 summary in its 6 October 2026 snapshot; conflicts with that page’s variant table |
| ₹23,999 among listed variants | Gadgets 360 variant-table figure in the same snapshot; not a verified live price or confirmed lowest price |
Which variant should you check?
Gadgets 360 lists four RAM/storage combinations: 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage. Treat these as listed configurations, not a guarantee that every Indian seller currently stocks them. Before paying, compare like with like: storage tier, RAM, colour, seller, delivery location and any offer conditions. A low price attached to a different configuration is not a direct comparison.

Is the realme 13 Pro+ 5G the right one to buy?
Its listed hardware is most relevant if you want a dedicated periscope camera alongside a high-refresh-rate display, a 5200mAh typical battery and 80W charging. For a meaningful comparison with another phone, line up the same factors: telephoto reach and stabilization, display size and resolution, battery and charging, RAM/storage, the live price for the exact variant, and software-update support. The cited specifications and price pages do not establish a directly comparable current competitor test or a definitive ranking.
