The discount is on the wireless Razer Wolverine V3 Pro, not on every Wolverine V3 controller. Tom’s Hardware reported on October 6, 2026 that Amazon was selling it for $94.99, down from a stated $199.99 price, which it described as 53% off. That is a dated deal report. Check the live Amazon listing for price, seller, stock and your region before you buy.
Which controller is actually discounted?
The headline says “Wolverine V3 controller”, but Tom’s Hardware’s deal report names the wireless Wolverine V3 Pro as the discounted item. Razer sells several similarly named controllers, so check the exact name on the listing.

These specifications come from Tom’s Hardware’s deal article. I haven’t tested the controller, and the article is a deal write-up, not a review.

How the Pro compares with the wired Tournament Edition
Razer’s page for the wired Tournament Edition lists four rear buttons and two claw-grip bumpers as six remappable controls. It also lists trigger modes and a detachable 10-foot USB-C cable. Polling is 250 Hz on Xbox, with a 1000 Hz Tournament Mode on PC. Those figures belong to the Tournament Edition only. Don’t assume the Pro matches them.
- Wireless: The Pro is the wireless model. The Tournament Edition is wired only.
- Accessories: Razer’s FAQ says the Pro comes with a carrying case and swappable stick caps.
- Price: I didn’t find a current Tournament Edition street price. Compare it against the live Pro price before deciding.
Is $94.99 worth it?
The reported price is less than half the stated $199.99. A “normal price” in a deal article is not proof that the controller regularly sold for that much, so judge the price against what you’d pay for the features. If you want wireless play on PC or Xbox, extra rear buttons and sticks designed to resist drift, $94.99 is a reasonable price to look at.

The 8,000 Hz figure is a manufacturer-style spec. I found no independent latency test, so don’t treat it as proof of better results. Most players won’t notice much difference from polling rate alone, and what matters more is fit, stick feel and the platforms you play on.
