It may suit players seeking a different hand position, but its weight and learning curve make it a poor fit for fast, twitchy games. PC Gamer reported an Amazon price of $89.99 on October 5, 2026, down from $119.99, and called it the lowest ever; that is a dated deal claim, not a guarantee of today’s price.
What the Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical offers
Razer describes the Pro Click V2 Vertical as a “Right-handed Vertical Ergonomic Wireless Mouse.” Its six-button layout and upright shape are intended to change how the hand rests on the mouse, rather than reproduce the familiar flat grip of a conventional gaming model. The design is for right-handed users.

Razer lists battery life of up to six months. PC Gamer’s July 2025 review reports a 150 g weight, up to 1,000 Hz polling, a maximum 30,000 DPI, and both 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. These are product specifications or review-reported details, not evidence that the mouse will improve a particular player’s performance.

Is it good for gaming?
It has specifications associated with gaming mice, but its shape and heft matter more than a high DPI ceiling for many players. PC Gamer’s review says the 150 g mouse is less suited to fast, twitchy movement. Players who make frequent, rapid adjustments may find it cumbersome compared with a lighter, more conventional gaming mouse.

- LONG BATTERY LIFE — Powered by an efficient, long lasting battery, game and create for up to 6 months* without interruption; get 3 working days of use with just 5 minutes of charge via an included USB-C charging cable. *under standard test conditions

- 18 ZONE LIGHTING WITH FULL UNDERGLOW — Enable reactive RGB for notifications with plugins available on Chroma Workshop; customize each zone from 16.8 million colors and experience greater immersion with over 300 integrated games
The vertical grip also takes adjustment. WIRED rated it 7/10 in its 2025 review, citing comfort and build quality as strengths while flagging a steep learning curve, awkward thumb-button placement, weight, and repair difficulty. If you play slower-paced games or want one mouse for work and occasional gaming, the trade-off may be more acceptable than it is for competitive play.
Could a vertical mouse help wrist discomfort?
The Pro Click V2 Vertical changes hand position to an upright, handshake-style grip. That is a design choice, not proof that the mouse prevents or treats wrist pain. The sources available here do not establish a clinical benefit for this model or for vertical mice generally. If you have persistent pain, a mouse purchase should not substitute for appropriate medical advice.

- 14 ZONE LIGHTING WITH FULL UNDERGLOW — Enable reactive RGB for notifications with plugins available on Chroma Workshop — customize each zone from 16.8 million colors and experience greater immersion with over 300 integrated games
Razer’s safety guidance recommends keeping the keyboard and mouse at or below elbow height and mentions a wrist rest as support while gaming. Those are manufacturer suggestions, not clinical evidence that this mouse relieves symptoms.
How does it compare with alternatives?
| Mouse | Shape and use | Price and weight context | What to weigh |
|---|---|---|---|
| Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical | Right-handed vertical ergonomic wireless mouse; gaming-oriented specifications | PC Gamer reported $120 in its July 2025 review context; it reported 150 g. Razer’s product page showed US$119.99 in a search result. | More gaming-oriented features than a basic productivity vertical mouse, but heavy and takes adjustment. |
| Keychron M5 | Alternative shape compared by PC Gamer | PC Gamer’s July 2025 review context listed $70 and described it as lighter; these are not current price quotes. | The reviewer preferred its shape and feel. Compare the grip in person if possible, especially if you need fast movement. |
| Logitech Lift | Vertical wireless mouse designed around a neutral handshake position, according to RTINGS | Not stated in the cited RTINGS comparison. | A productivity-oriented alternative to consider for shape, rather than as an equivalent gaming-performance option. |
Is $89.99 the lowest price?
PC Gamer reported on October 5, 2026 that Amazon listed the mouse for $89.99, compared with a previous price of $119.99, and described it as the lowest price ever on Amazon. Treat that as PC Gamer’s dated deal claim: the available information does not independently verify the product’s full price history. Razer’s official page showed US$119.99 in a search result, but neither figure confirms the price or stock on a live listing today.

Who should consider it?
- Consider it if you specifically want a right-handed vertical grip and are willing to adapt to a heavier mouse for work and less frantic gaming.
- Look elsewhere if quick, repeated mouse movements are central to your games, or if you prefer a lighter shape; the Keychron M5 is one alternative PC Gamer describes as lighter and less expensive in its 2025 review context.
- Choose by comfort and fit, not a medical promise. The upright design changes hand position, but the cited sources do not show that it treats or prevents wrist pain.
