For Patch 3.6, Prydwen’s recommended Qingxiao setup is Glint of Clouds, five-piece Heart of Evil’s Purge, and Calamity Effigy in the main Echo slot. Prioritize Crit and ATK, then add enough Energy Regen for your team’s rotation. If you want to avoid limited weapon banners, Emerald of Genesis is the strongest permanent option in Prydwen’s ranking; Commando of Conviction is its permanently available no-gacha choice. “F2P” can mean different things, so those options are not interchangeable.
Qingxiao build at a glance
- Role: five-star Aero Sword DPS who builds toward Ephemeral Transcendence and an enhanced heavy attack.
- Weapon: Glint of Clouds is Prydwen’s top recommendation; Emerald of Genesis is its best permanent option.
- Echoes: five-piece Heart of Evil’s Purge, with Calamity Effigy as the main Echo.
- Main stats: cost 4 Crit Rate or Crit DMG; cost 3 Aero DMG and ATK%; cost 1 ATK% in both slots.
- Team: Prydwen’s recommended core is Qingxiao, Denia, and Mornye.
These recommendations reflect Prydwen’s guide, updated October 5, 2026 for Patch 3.6, rather than an official developer build prescription: Prydwen’s Qingxiao guide.
Which weapon should Qingxiao use?
Glint of Clouds is the leading choice in Prydwen’s ranking. The guide highlights its Crit Rate, Aero DMG Bonus, and DEF ignore, while noting its lower base ATK. Red Spring is a usable alternative, but Prydwen does not consider it an ideal substitute for the signature weapon.

Prydwen’s comparison added buffs from Denia using Forged Dwarf Star, Reel of Spliced Memories, and Voidwing Moth, and from Mornye using Starfield Calibrator, Halo of Starry Radiance, and Reactor Husk. Under that specific setup, its relative damage figures are:
| Weapon and refinement | Prydwen relative value | Access category in the guide |
|---|---|---|
| Glint of Clouds R1 | 100.00% | Signature weapon |
| Red Spring R1 | 81.10% | Limited weapon option |
| Emerald of Genesis R1 | 78.50% | Permanent option |
| Feather Edge R5 | 70.30% | Battle-pass weapon |
| Commando of Conviction R5 | 64.60% | Permanently available no-gacha option |
These are Prydwen calculations for the stated team buffs, not guaranteed results for every account. WuwaBuild also ranks Glint of Clouds first but gives Emerald of Genesis a different relative figure, 79.7% rather than Prydwen’s 78.50%; its Red Spring figure is 81.1%. That variation is a reason to treat guide percentages as model-specific comparisons. See WuwaBuild’s Qingxiao guide.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Choosing by access, not by the “F2P” label
- Permanent weapon: Prydwen names Emerald of Genesis as the best permanent choice.
- No-gacha choice: Commando of Conviction is its best permanently available no-gacha option, though its comparison value is lower.
- Battle pass: Feather Edge and Lumingloss are battle-pass weapons, so they are not universally free-to-play.
- Limited banner: Glint of Clouds and Red Spring require access to limited weapon banners; do not treat them as guaranteed free options.
Some guides use “F2P” more loosely for weapons that are obtainable without a limited signature pull or that require a battle pass. Check the actual access route on your account before treating a recommendation as free.
Best Echo set, main Echo, and stats
Set and main Echo
Equip five pieces of Heart of Evil’s Purge and put Calamity Effigy in the main Echo slot. Prydwen says the set provides 20% more Crit DMG than the standard Aero set Sierra Gale while offering the same total 40% Aero DMG when its Tune Strain condition is met. WuwaBuild also recommends Heart of Evil’s Purge and Calamity Effigy.

Main stats and substats
| Echo cost | Recommended main stat |
|---|---|
| 4 | Crit Rate or Crit DMG |
| 3 | Aero DMG and ATK%; ATK% is at least comparable for the second cost-3 slot in Prydwen’s recommendation |
| 1 | ATK% in both slots |
For substats, build Energy Regen until Qingxiao meets the rotation requirement for your team. After that, prioritize Crit Rate, Crit DMG, ATK%, and ATK; Heavy Attack, Liberation, and Basic Attack damage bonuses are also useful.
Suggested endgame targets
Prydwen’s 2026 Level 90 guide suggests the following targets for a reasonably good endgame build. They are guide benchmarks, not mandatory minimums; Energy Regen needs vary by team.

How to play Qingxiao’s rotation
Her damage pattern centers on reaching Ephemeral Transcendence, then using Heavy Attack: Heaven’s Reckoning, alongside her Ultimate. Basic Attacks make up most of the sequence, with Skill and Ultimate as the main inputs between them. Prydwen summarizes its recommended post-Intro sequence as holding Basic Attack and changing inputs to cast Skill and Ultimate.
- Use an Intro to begin the sequence.
- Hold Basic Attack through most of the rotation to build toward Ephemeral Transcendence.
- Cast Skill and Ultimate when the sequence calls for them.
- Once Qingxiao enters the enhanced state, stay on-field long enough to use Heavy Attack: Heaven’s Reckoning.
Swapping out after entering the enhanced state removes the enhancements to Heaven’s Reckoning, so avoid an early swap at that point.

Which teammates work best?
Prydwen’s recommended team is Qingxiao, Denia, and Mornye. The guide also describes a route using Lynae with a strong premium support. It characterizes Qingxiao’s team-building as restrictive and warns that without Denia plus Mornye, or Lynae plus a strong premium support, she can fall behind other modern DPS characters.
That makes teammate access part of the build decision: an account that lacks the recommended support core may get less value from investing in Qingxiao than one that can field the guide’s preferred team. Energy Regen targets should likewise be adjusted to the team rather than copied as a fixed requirement.
