The 3 L capacity gives you more room than the 1.5 L or 2 L versions for larger portions, sauces, or reheating. Whether its 20 cm diameter and capacity suit your cupboards and usual batch sizes depends on your kitchen and cooking habits.

Pyrolux describes the pan as forged aluminium with a stone-line finish and a three-layer nonstick surface. It includes a tempered-glass lid with a steam vent and soft-touch ergonomic handles. The product page describes the coating as PFOA-free. It does not establish the coating’s full composition, how it performs over time, or how its lifespan compares with other pans.
Does it work on induction, and can it go in the oven?
According to Pyrolux, the saucepan is compatible with gas, electric, halogen, ceramic, and induction cooktops. The stated oven limit is 180°C. Check the product information supplied with the specific item before use, especially if you plan to move it between the stovetop and oven. These compatibility and temperature specifications are stated by Pyrolux.

What care does Pyrolux recommend?
Pyrolux says the saucepan is dishwasher safe, but recommends handwashing it in warm, soapy water to extend the life of the nonstick surface. The maker’s other care advice is:
- Use wooden, nylon, or silicone utensils, and do not cut food inside the pan.
- Use low-to-medium heat for most cooking. Pyrolux says high heat should be reserved for short searing or browning.
- Keep the heat source within the base of the pan, and do not boil it dry.
- Let the pan cool before immersing it in water.
- If the nonstick properties diminish, Pyrolux suggests lightly wiping oil over the surface. This is the maker’s suggestion, not an independently verified way to restore a coating.

Is there independent test evidence for model 11807?
Consumer NZ’s saucepan coverage, updated in June 2025, includes a product record titled “Pyrolux Pyrostone Saucepan 20cm/3L (11807).” The accessible record identifies the model but does not show a score or test findings. It therefore does not support claims that the saucepan passed or failed a particular test. When accessed on 7 October 2026, Kmart Australia displayed the saucepan for A$78.50 as an online-only marketplace listing sold and shipped by Chalet Essentials.
