Neither Pulsetto nor Apollo is an evidence-based universal winner. Pulsetto is a better format fit if you want brief, intentional electrical-stimulation sessions with a neck-worn device; Apollo is a better fit if you prefer a vibration wearable worn on your wrist, ankle or clothing through the day. That is a choice about routine and sensation—not proof that either product reliably improves stress, sleep or health.
How the devices work—and how you use them
| Decision point | Pulsetto | Apollo Neuro |
|---|---|---|
| What it delivers | Electrical pulses through neck electrodes; Pulsetto markets its product as cervical vagus nerve stimulation. | Patterned vibration from a wearable. It does not electrically stimulate the neck. |
| Where it is worn | Around the neck, with electrodes contacting the skin. | On the wrist or ankle, or clipped to clothing. |
| Typical routine | Short, intentional sessions. Pulsetto’s company comparison describes sessions of about four minutes. | Wear it during the day and select vibration programs through the companion app. |
| Best format match | Someone who wants a dedicated session and is comfortable with electrode contact and electrical stimulation. | Someone who prefers vibration and a wearable that can be used as part of a broader daily routine. |
Pulsetto’s company comparison describes the FIT X model as having adaptive stimulation and contact sensing; these are seller-reported features, and available features may differ by model. Older FIT and Lite models may also be offered. Check the exact model and its current specifications before buying. Pulsetto’s comparison and Apollo’s product information describe the respective formats.

Does either one work better?
The available sources do not establish a head-to-head clinical comparison of Pulsetto FIT X and Apollo Neuro, so there is no supported comparative outcome statistic or clinical basis for naming one the more effective product. Company benefit claims and research into related technologies do not, by themselves, show that one of these retail devices will produce predictable results for an individual.
What the Apollo research claims show
Apollo’s undated science page, accessed October 7, 2026, reports up to 40% stress reduction, an average of 46 more minutes of sleep per night, 25% improvement in focus and an 11% increase in heart-rate variability (HRV). It also reports 17 completed clinical studies and 12 underway at that time. These are figures published by the company; the page does not identify a study year next to each benefit figure. Study counts alone do not establish the quality, independence, sample size or relevance of evidence for any particular claim. Apollo’s science page says its studies are conducted by independent university investigators and researchers without a financial relationship with Apollo unless stated otherwise; that description is the company’s own, not an independent audit.

Wareable’s June 8, 2026 comparison says much of Apollo’s research has been company-funded or supported and calls for more independent studies. Its account of subtle subjective changes during testing is an editorial report, not a blinded, controlled clinical trial or a forecast of how a buyer will respond. Read Wareable’s comparison.
What is established about Pulsetto
A TU Delft repository thesis describes Pulsetto and reports that it found no clinical evidence for the marketed effects within the thesis’s review scope. Wareable later describes a small 2025 Pulsetto study involving a single session associated with increased alpha brain-wave activity. Neither point establishes comparative effectiveness or a reliable real-world benefit. Pulsetto’s company page describes a study, but its linked Bechterew study page was unavailable when reviewed, so its methods and conclusions cannot be assessed here. TU Delft repository.

Evidence about non-invasive vagus nerve stimulation or vibration generally is context, not proof that a specific consumer device delivers a particular outcome. Individual effects remain uncertain.

Pulsetto uses electrical stimulation and requires skin contact at the neck. Its safety page lists implanted electronic devices and various cardiac, pregnancy, seizure or syncope-related situations among contraindications or groups for whom safety and efficacy have not been evaluated. It also lists possible effects such as application-site discomfort or irritation, local pain, muscle twitching, headache, dizziness and tingling. The company says the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. Review Pulsetto’s current safety information and consult an appropriate clinician if you have an implant or relevant health condition.

Apollo delivers vibration rather than electrical stimulation at the neck, but that difference is not a guarantee that it is suitable for everyone. Review Apollo’s current product instructions and safety guidance before use, especially if you have health concerns. The available comparison does not establish that either wearable is risk-free.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsChoose by the routine you will actually use
- Consider Pulsetto’s format if you want brief, scheduled sessions, accept a neck-worn device and are comfortable with electrode contact and electrical stimulation.
- Consider Apollo’s format if you prefer vibration, want to wear a device on your wrist or ankle or clip it to clothing, and value app-selected programs during the day.
- Pause before buying either if you need a proven treatment for a health condition, expect a guaranteed improvement in sleep or stress, or have safety questions that the product instructions do not resolve.
- Check the total commitment by verifying the exact model, current regional price, any recurring app cost, return period and warranty on the seller’s live pages.
Use format preference—not marketing percentages—as the practical tie-breaker. Neither the reviewed evidence nor a product’s study count identifies a universal winner.
