Esports
The official page features esports, but competitive play is governed by event rules rather than by the general mode overview. The official competition rules search result lists version 1.7.0, dated January 30, 2026; its change notes cover the 2026 competition structure, roster requirements, team ownership, prize payments, and sanctions. Read the current official rulebook for the event you intend to enter. Rules for one event or region should not be assumed to apply to every competition.

The official help center describes touch-based controls. The standard on-screen layout includes movement on the left, attack and aim or zoom controls, a running control, and buttons for sitting, going prone, and jumping. To adjust your view, drag across parts of the screen that do not have icons.

Yes. Open Settings, then choose Customize Buttons to change the on-screen button layout. The Google Play listing also describes customizable controls, a training mode, and voice chat with friends; listings and features can vary by region and change over time.
