The four games in the September 2026 PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup were available to add through Monday, October 5—not October 6. As of October 7, Sony’s announced claim window has passed. October 6 was the start of the next monthly lineup, which may explain the date mix-up.
Which four PS Plus games were involved?
Sony’s September lineup contained Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life, and Chained Echoes. Sony announced that members could add them from September 1 through October 5, 2026. PlayStation Plus requires a recurring subscription, so these were subscription benefits rather than games available free of any conditions. Sony’s September announcement includes the lineup and its terms.

Why did October 6 appear as the deadline?
October 6 was the launch date for Sony’s next monthly lineup, not the final day to add September’s four games. The October 2026 lineup—F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2—was available from October 6 through November 2, 2026, according to Sony’s October announcement.

Can you still add the September games?
Sony’s announced claim period ended October 5. That establishes the deadline for the monthly offer, but does not establish whether a particular account or regional Store still displays an item afterward. Sony says monthly lineups may differ by region and advises members to check their local PlayStation Store on release day. The MLB The Show 26 Jump Start Bundle had a separate date: Sony listed it as available September 1 through October 6. That in-game bundle date did not extend the four-game monthly offer.
