Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the three October Monthly Games on September 30, 2026: F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2. Is there an RPG in the October PS Plus games?
There is an RPG listed on PlayStation’s October page, but it belongs to a different service category. Mega Man X: Command Mission is described as a turn-based RPG in the Classics Catalog. Its presence there does not make it an October Monthly Game. The page also lists RuneScape: Dragonwilds in the Game Catalog; that listing is likewise separate from the Monthly Games lineup. What happens when you claim a Monthly Game?
PlayStation says Monthly Games can be downloaded with any plan and remain available while the subscriber is a member. That is subscription access, not permanent ownership independent of an active membership. PlayStation Plus is a recurring paid subscription; check the terms for your region before subscribing.
