- Find Elara: Look for Elara at her clothing or tailor shop in Mistfall Harbor and deliver the package.
- Buy the hat: Open Elara’s inventory and purchase the Black Amigasa. Guides report a price of 10,000, but currency labels vary between Yen and Wen, and one guide uses a dollar sign. Check the live in-game dialogue rather than relying on a label from a guide.
- Equip it: Put the Black Amigasa on after purchasing it. Buying the item alone is not reported to activate Sun Immunity.
Guides do not establish that the route is always free of combat, and route requirements may change with game updates. Follow the current quest marker and be prepared for encounters rather than assuming the trip is combat-free.

What the Black Amigasa does
Guides describe sunlight as causing continuous burn damage to demons and identify Sun Immunity as the Black Amigasa’s benefit when equipped. NerdsChalk reports sunlight protection as the hat’s sole benefit, so there is no basis here to attribute other combat stats to it. The game description reproduced by AllThingsHow reads: “Lacquered black and gilded with cranes, slung on red cords. Ornate for a bandit’s hat, and still shade enough to keep the sun off.”

Black Amigasa or the Kamado clan?
The guides also report the Kamado clan as an alternative source of Sun Immunity, but they do not establish how to obtain that clan or the odds of doing so. The practical choice therefore depends on what your character already has:
- Black Amigasa: A reported purchase route with a delivery prerequisite; it occupies the headwear slot.
- Kamado clan: A reported alternative that may avoid relying on the hat slot, but the acquisition process and odds are not established by the available guides.
If you want an actionable path without relying on uncertain clan acquisition details, the delivery to Elara and purchase of the hat is the documented option. Neither option can be called universally best from the available information.
