Prismic lists paid plans by repository, with prices shown per month when paid annually—not as a separate per-seat fee. As of October 7, 2026, plans range from Free at $0 to Platinum at $675 per repository per month; Enterprise pricing is custom. The best fit depends on how many people need access, how many locales you publish, and whether your API-call and CDN-bandwidth use fits the included limits.
Prismic plan prices and limits in 2026
The prices below are the amounts Prismic lists per repository per month for plans paid annually. Prismic’s pricing page does not provide a separate monthly-billing schedule, so these figures should not be treated as month-to-month rates. All plan limits and prices are from Prismic’s official pricing page, accessed October 7, 2026.

Does Prismic charge per seat?
Prismic’s listed prices are per repository, not per seat. Instead of adding a published seat fee, a team that exceeds its user cap needs to consider a plan with a higher cap and its corresponding repository price. The listed caps are one user on Free, three on Starter, seven on Small, 25 on Medium, and unlimited on Platinum and Enterprise.
#1 Best Overall
- Transform audio playing via your speakers and headphones
- Improve sound quality by adjusting it with effects
- Take control over the sound playing through audio hardware
For example, a second person cannot fit within Free’s one-user allowance; Starter is the first listed plan that supports more than one user. Prismic does not publish a separate seat price or a monthly-payment price schedule on the pricing page.
What the Free plan includes—and where it stops
Free includes one user, two locales, 4 million API calls per month, and 100 GB of CDN bandwidth per month. Prismic also lists unlimited documents, types, and assets for Free. It can suit a solo project if those limits are sufficient; adding collaborators or a third locale means looking at a paid plan.
Rank #2
Free does not have paid bandwidth overages. Prismic says a project can be automatically locked when it exceeds its allowance, so usage that approaches the included limits deserves attention before relying on the free tier for a live site.

Starter: add collaborators or a third locale
At $10 per repository per month when paid annually, Starter raises the user cap to three and the locale limit to three. Its API-call allowance remains 4 million per month and included CDN bandwidth remains 100 GB per month, with paid overage available up to 500 GB at $0.30/GB.

- Loaded with audio effects including EQ, compression, reverb, and more.

Small: a team of up to seven
Small costs $25 per repository per month when paid annually. It allows seven users and four locales, but keeps the same 4 million monthly API calls and 100 GB included CDN bandwidth as Starter. It is a user- and locale-capacity step, not an increase to those usage allowances.
Medium: more bandwidth, roles, or a larger team
Medium costs $150 per repository per month when paid annually. It raises the caps to 25 users, five locales, 5 million API calls per month, and 500 GB of CDN bandwidth per month; it also includes user roles. Paid CDN overage is listed up to 1 TB at $0.30/GB.
Rank #4
Platinum: unlimited users and higher quotas
Platinum costs $675 per repository per month when paid annually. It lists unlimited users, eight locales, 10 million API calls per month, and 1 TB of monthly CDN bandwidth. The pricing page lists paid bandwidth overage up to 5 TB at $0.25/GB and API-call overages up to 20 million on yearly invoiced plans. Development environments are listed as a paid option on yearly invoiced plans; confirm the applicable terms with Prismic.
Enterprise: custom requirements
Enterprise is custom-priced and lists custom quotas. Prismic identifies needs such as SSO, backups, custom roles, and support or uptime SLAs as Enterprise considerations. Since the price and quotas are custom, compare the specific proposal rather than assuming a standard rate or limit.

How usage limits can affect billing and availability
Prismic describes paid-plan CDN bandwidth as having a soft limit, with plan-specific overage ceilings and rates. The pricing page says reaching the maximum paid overage allowed for a plan can move a repository to the next plan level. Free has no overages and may lock when its allowance is exceeded.
A separate billing control can affect what happens at usage limits. In a January 20, 2026 update, Prismic Platform PM François Rivière described Spend Manager, a setting in the Usage Dashboard for CDN bandwidth or API-call limits. With auto-upgrade enabled, Prismic says it moves the repository to the next plan tier after a limit is exceeded; with it disabled, the repository pauses at its hard limit until a manual upgrade or the next billing cycle. The update says auto-upgrade is the default. Check the current dashboard setting and terms rather than assuming a particular billing outcome. See Prismic’s Spend Manager update.
Quick Recap
A practical way to choose a plan
- Count the people who need access. Match the team to the plan’s user cap; the displayed price is per repository, not a stated charge for each user.
- Count required locales. The listed caps range from two on Free to eight on Platinum, with Enterprise quotas custom.
- Estimate usage against the included quotas. Compare monthly API calls and CDN bandwidth, then account for the paid bandwidth ceilings and rates where listed.
- Consider governance and custom requirements. Medium lists user roles; Enterprise is the custom-priced option for needs such as SSO, backups, custom roles, and support or uptime SLAs.
- Review Spend Manager. Check whether auto-upgrade is enabled and decide whether a plan change after a limit is preferable to pausing at the hard limit.
