The Primebook 2 Max is worth considering if your day is mostly browser tabs, documents, email, streaming and Android apps. It runs Android 15-based PrimeOS—not Windows—and its Cloud PC feature provides remote access to Windows or Linux rather than installing either system on the laptop. That distinction matters: reviewers found it useful for lighter everyday work, but not a like-for-like substitute for a conventional Windows PC, especially for demanding workloads or software that requires Windows locally.
What the Primebook 2 Max is—and who it suits
This is a 15.6-inch laptop built around Android apps and a laptop-style interface. PrimeOS adds familiar laptop conveniences such as a keyboard, trackpad, taskbar and windowing, while Cloud PC can connect to remote Windows or Linux environments. The device is most plausible for students and other users whose required apps work well in a browser or on Android, and who value a larger screen and a physical keyboard.

It is a poor fit if your work depends on a specific Windows desktop program installed locally, sustained heavy processing, or an experience identical to using a Windows laptop. Cloud PC may cover some remote-computing needs, but requires activation or a subscription; check service terms, availability, connectivity requirements and cost before relying on it.

Specifications and configuration to check

Everyday performance: useful, with software caveats
The Independent’s Anuj Bhatia described the laptop as fast enough for general productivity and a practical alternative, while noting rough software edges and the need for better app support. 91mobiles likewise considered it suitable for web apps, documents, email, streaming and lightweight Android use, but advised heavy users to choose a conventional Windows laptop. These are review experiences, not controlled benchmark results or a guarantee that every Android app will behave like its desktop counterpart.
Before buying, make a short list of the applications you actually need. Check that each one has a usable Android version or works in a browser. If a required program is Windows-only, determine whether remote Cloud PC access supports your workflow and whether a network connection and subscription are acceptable. A laptop-shaped device does not by itself make Android apps equivalent to desktop software.

Cloud PC is remote access, not native Windows
PrimeOS is the installed operating system. Cloud PC is a separate remote-computing feature that connects to Windows or Linux environments; it does not turn the laptop into a native Windows machine. The Independent reviewer said Cloud PC worked but did not provide the same experience as a Windows PC. Remote access also makes the quality of the workflow dependent on service terms and connectivity, so test the specific apps and tasks you intend to use rather than assuming compatibility.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesBattery life: treat figures as usage-dependent
Primebook’s FAQ lists up to 12 hours for the Max, dependent on use. Separately, Primebook’s summary of Mashable journalist Ayush Chourasia’s review reports screen-on time of “up to 10 hours.” The latter is a reviewer-reported result under his usage, not a standardized battery test or a promise of runtime. Expect battery life to vary with workload, settings and connectivity.

How it compares with the Primebook 2 Pro
Primebook’s FAQ says the Max has the larger display and more internal storage than the Pro, while listing up to 12 hours of battery life for the Max versus up to 14 hours for the Pro. Those are manufacturer-stated figures; check the current listing for the exact configurations and claims being offered.
Price and buying checks
Captured Primebook pages showed different prices: ₹22,990 on the homepage, ₹32,990 in the official store catalog and ₹30,990 in Primebook’s summary of the Mashable review. The available information does not explain the discrepancy, so none should be treated as a confirmed current price. Check the live product page, selected configuration, seller and checkout total before deciding whether it represents good value. The official catalog also showed a USB-C charger accessory as sold out when captured; verify availability rather than assuming it can be ordered.

Verdict
The Primebook 2 Max is a practical possibility for light, web-first computing if Android apps meet your needs and you are comfortable with PrimeOS. Its larger display and laptop controls make that use case more natural than a phone or tablet. It is not a safe default replacement for a Windows laptop: software support is a real constraint, Cloud PC is remote rather than native, and the current price and configuration need checking. Choose it for a verified Android/browser workflow, not on the assumption that every desktop task will carry over.
