ITmedia PC USER 报道称，戴尔于 2022 年 3 月 18 日开始在日本销售这三款搭载第 12 代 Core 处理器的 Precision 桌面工作站。这个日期对应日本市场的开售时间，不应视为全球统一发布日期。戴尔支持网站的记录显示，Precision 3260 和 3460 的初版 BIOS 于 2022 年 3 月 16 日发布，说明这两款机型当时已进入支持流程；这项记录本身并不能证明全球销售起始日。

三款 Precision 桌面工作站有什么区别
戴尔 2022 年 6 月 15 日的比较表将三款产品归为桌面 Precision 工作站，并列出 Alder Lake-S 处理器及专业工作站功能类别。具体内存、显卡和存储配置会因型号和订购选项而异，因此比较机型时，应看具体配置而非仅凭系列名称判断。（戴尔 Precision 比较资料）

Precision 3660 Tower：三款中扩展信息最完整

从这三款的已列规格看，3660 是扩展灵活性最突出的选择。不过，适不适合某项工作负载，还要看所选处理器、显卡、内存和存储组合；目前所引资料没有提供可用于三机横向比较的独立性能基准。
Precision 3460 SFF：小机箱与专业显卡选项

Precision 3260 Compact：优先压缩占用空间

如何按需求选择
- 优先考虑扩展：先看 3660 Tower，并按计划使用的显卡、存储设备和扩展卡核实插槽、电源及配置兼容性。
- 需要小机箱和独立专业显卡：比较 3460 SFF 的低矮型显卡选项与具体工作负载要求。
- 桌面空间最紧张：查看 3260 Compact 的实际内存、显卡和存储配置，并确认扩展需求能否满足。
- 需要判断性能：逐项对照处理器、显卡、内存容量与 ECC 支持、模块布局、存储和散热配置；不能把机型定位当作基准测试结果。
当前可购性与价格应单独核实
