AI Studio is the place to explore and use packaged assets. The Platform is the data-management layer those assets can draw on.
What Precisely announced
The announcements describe two related but distinct offerings. Precisely’s AI Studio launch release presents a curated catalog of apps, task-focused agents, and downloadable skills. The company says users can browse by industry or outcome, try assets with sample data and prompts after signing in, and download agents or skills to use in their own environments with a Precisely MCP connection.

The separate Platform announcement concerns a much broader data-management offering. Precisely describes it as a shared foundation for managing and preparing enterprise data, rather than as another name for the AI Studio library.
What is in AI Studio?
AI Studio is intended to give enterprise teams a starting point for common AI-enabled tasks instead of requiring them to build every workflow from scratch. Precisely says its assets can work with tools including Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT, and describes connecting downloaded assets through MCP. Those are vendor-stated compatibility claims; practical fit depends on the customer’s model access, environment, permissions, and integrations.
#1 Best Overall
Examples in the launch announcement include assets that can geocode addresses, initiate governance workflows, and configure data-replication pipelines. It also cites a Property Analyzer app and a Real Estate Intelligence agent that build on prepared data. Precisely’s AI Studio product page describes hundreds of pre-linked datasets as part of the broader platform, but coverage and availability differ by asset and geography; the company says details are shown within each asset.
What is the Precisely Platform?
The Platform is the underlying data-management layer. According to Precisely’s platform overview, it brings together data integration, data quality, governance, enrichment, location intelligence, master data management, and customer communications on a shared metadata and semantic foundation. The company also describes platform services including catalog, semantics, observability, pipelines, workflow, and AI Manager.
Rank #2
Precisely’s stated aim is to make data visible, reliable, accountable, and complete across cloud, on-premises, hybrid, mainframe, and SAP environments. This is the company’s positioning for the platform, not an independently established performance result. The distinction matters: AI Studio is a library of packaged assets to explore, while the Platform is the broader set of data capabilities those assets may use.
Availability, trial, and regional coverage
| Offering | Status announced October 6, 2026 | What users can expect |
|---|---|---|
| AI Studio | Precisely said it was available immediately. | The product page describes a 30-day trial with credit and transaction allowances; access may end sooner if those allowances are used up. |
| Precisely Platform | In preview; general availability targeted for early 2027. | The early-2027 timing is a target, not a guaranteed release date. |
Precisely describes AI Studio as available globally, but that does not mean every dataset or capability has worldwide coverage. Check the coverage information attached to the specific asset. Trial conditions can change, so confirm the current terms on the product page before signing up.
Rank #3
Precisely says existing customers should set the new trial workspace as their default when exploring AI Studio, so trial activity does not draw on purchased usage allowances or entitlements. The stated trial period is subject to credit and transaction allowances rather than an unconditional 30 days of use.
How to evaluate AI Studio safely
Precisely says AI Studio runs on sample data, while two apps allow optional uploads. Its guidance is not to upload sensitive or production data during the trial. For any production assessment, the company advises teams to review permissions, integrations, governance requirements, and business impact, and to start with test or non-production data where possible.
- Check what data an asset accesses and which permissions it requires.
- Confirm the MCP connection and model integrations are supported and approved in your environment.
- Review dataset coverage for the specific asset and geography you need.
- Test workflows with non-production data before considering production use.
- Assess governance, security, and business impact before deployment.
What the announcements do—and do not—establish
Precisely says more than 12,000 organizations in over 100 countries, including 92% of the Fortune 500, rely on the company. Those are company-reported figures, not independently verified by the launch announcements. The release also quotes Precisely Chief Product Officer Matt Waxman: “Building a compelling AI demo is one thing. Building AI you can trust at scale is much harder.” That statement reflects the company’s rationale for tying AI assets to data-management capabilities; it is not evidence of a measured outcome.
The release includes a partner testimonial from Korem’s Jimmy Duchesne, who said time to value “can be calculated in days” rather than months. That is a partner’s description of its experience, not a controlled or independently reported measurement. The announcements do not state paid AI Studio or Platform pricing, service-level commitments, or independently measured performance.
