If your portable power station is not charging, first check whether its display shows incoming power. Then verify the outlet or source, both cable connections, temperature, and compatibility with your exact model. A connected cable alone does not prove that power is reaching the battery.
What does the station show when you connect it?
Before changing anything, note whether the display turns on, whether an input wattage or charging icon appears, and whether the screen shows an error code. Also record the charging method—wall AC, car/DC, or solar—the approximate battery charge, and the surrounding conditions.

- No input indication: Power may not be reaching the station. Check the source, cable, and connections.
- Input appears but charging is slow or intermittent: The source, temperature, battery state, or normal charge taper may explain the reading. Compare it with the exact model’s display guidance and manual.
- The battery reads 100%: It may have stopped accepting input as normal protection behavior. Jackery’s AC troubleshooting guidance identifies a full battery as one reason charging may stop.
- An error code or warning appears: Record it and look it up in the manual for that exact model. Codes are not interchangeable across brands or models.
Jackery’s support guidance asks customers reporting persistent outlet-charging problems to provide the adapter indicator and the station’s input indication. Those observations can help distinguish a source or charger problem from a station fault.

Is the AC outlet, charger, or cable the problem?
Check the outlet and both cable ends
- Confirm the wall outlet works, using a safe method such as checking it with another suitable device.
- Switch off or disconnect the station as its manual directs, then make sure the charging lead is firmly seated at both ends.
- Reconnect it and look for the station’s AC charging indicator or input reading.
- If there is still no indication, inspect the lead for visible damage. If practical, try a known-good outlet.
Jackery’s current AC troubleshooting checklist includes cable seating, the AC indicator, temperature, state of charge, and the displayed F6 code. If the adapter has an indicator, note whether it lights; an illuminated adapter does not by itself confirm that the station is receiving power.

Use a charger specified for the exact model
Use the supplied charger or a replacement explicitly rated as compatible with your station. A plug that fits can still have the wrong electrical specifications. Jackery Europe gives a specific example: its E240 charger is not compatible with the E500 or E1000. Check the model name and electrical ratings in the station’s documentation before trying another charger or cable.
Could temperature protection be stopping the charge?
Many stations pause charging when the battery is too cold or too hot. There is no universal temperature limit: it depends on the product and battery chemistry. Use the range stated for your exact model, not a limit copied from another station.

EcoFlow’s DELTA Pro manual says high-temperature charging resumes automatically after the battery cools. BLUETTI’s AC60P manual identifies E085 as charging temperature too high and E086 as too low, and directs users to wait for cooling or keep the battery within its stated recommended range.

Move the station to a dry, moderate-temperature place within its own specified charging range and allow it to acclimate. Do not heat it externally, refrigerate it, or bypass its protections. If a temperature or battery warning remains after conditions normalize, follow the model’s support instructions rather than attempting an internal repair.

How can you isolate the charging source?
Try another supported input only as a diagnostic check
If AC charging still fails, try car/DC charging only if the station supports it and you have the correct cable and source. Jackery suggests trying car charging; if the station charges that way, its support says the original charger may be faulty. This is a clue, not proof that the charger is the only problem or that the battery is healthy.
Check solar limits before connecting panels
For solar charging, check the station manual for permitted DC input voltage, polarity, connector, and panel configuration. Do not assume that a panel is compatible because its connector fits.

Record the displayed code and use the code table and restart procedure in the manual for the exact model. For example, Jackery lists F6 as an AC input abnormality or inverter over-temperature indication in its AC charging support checklist; BLUETTI identifies AC60P codes E085 and E086 as high and low charging-temperature warnings. These meanings should not be applied to other models.

Reset procedures also vary. Jackery Europe suggests holding the DISPLAY button for 10 seconds for the units covered by its support article. That is not a universal reset method. Follow the instructions for your model, and do not use repeated resets as a substitute for investigating a continuing warning.
When should you stop troubleshooting and contact support?
Contact the manufacturer or authorized service provider if charging still fails after the source, connections, compatibility, and temperature checks, or if a warning persists after the model’s recommended restart. Include the exact model, charging method, approximate battery state, input reading, adapter indicator status, surrounding conditions, and any error code.
The EcoFlow DELTA Pro manual says to stop using the unit if an LCD warning remains after restart, and not to charge or discharge it. That direction applies to the DELTA Pro manual; more generally, follow the safety instructions for your own model and do not keep cycling a station with a persistent fault.
Do not open the enclosure, replace cells, bypass battery-management protections, jump-start the pack, or charge outside the manufacturer’s stated limits. Internal battery faults need manufacturer-directed service.
