The official Pokémon Friends pages reviewed do not list active promotional codes or explain a code-entry method. That does not prove a code could never be distributed, but there is no documented in-game redemption process on those pages. To earn the game’s ordinary rewards, solve puzzles for yarn, make virtual Pokémon plush in the Plush-O-Matic, and complete friend quests for items such as furniture.
Are there Pokémon Friends redeem codes?
As of October 5, 2026, The Pokémon Company’s Pokémon Friends FAQ and product information do not publish a current promotional-code list or instructions for redeeming codes. The precise answer is therefore that no codes or redemption method are documented on those official pages—not that codes could never be issued elsewhere in the future.

Be careful with search results for Pokémon codes in general: Pokémon TCG code cards, Mystery Gift codes for other Pokémon games, mobile transfer codes, and Nintendo eShop purchase codes are separate things. The reviewed Pokémon Friends information does not identify any of them as a way to claim Pokémon Friends rewards.

How do you earn rewards in Pokémon Friends?
The documented reward loop is part of normal gameplay, not a code-entry system. Solve puzzles to earn yarn, spend yarn in the Plush-O-Matic to make virtual Pokémon plush, and fulfill friend quests that ask for particular plush.
#1 Best Overall
- Revisit the Sinnoh region from the original Pokémon Pearl Version game and set off to try and become the Champion of the Pokémon League
- The Pokémon Shining Pearl game brings new life to this remade classic with added features
- Explore the Grand Underground to dig up items and Pokémon Fossils, build a Secret Base, and more.
- Test your style and rhythm in a Super Contest Show
- A reimagined adventure, now for the Nintendo Switch system
Make plush with yarn
- Solve puzzles to collect yarn.
- Open the Plush-O-Matic, choose Make, and select yarn to craft a plush.
- Use the catalog to make a plush you have made before, if you want another; this also consumes yarn. Some plush can only be made with the Plush-O-Matic.
Additional yarn types are earned by solving puzzles. DLC plush can be made once you have collected the yarn they require, according to the official FAQ.
Complete friend quests
Friend quests request specific plush and can reward in-game items such as furniture. These are gameplay rewards earned by meeting the requests; the official FAQ does not describe them as promotional codes.
Rank #2
- Embark on a new Pokémon adventure
- Catch, battle, and train Pokémon in the Paldea Region, a vast land filled with lakes, towering peaks, wastelands, small towns, and sprawling cities.
- Choose either Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxly, to be your first partner Pokémon before setting off on your journey through Paldea.
- Embark on an independent study called the Treasure Hunt to gain new experiences, meet new people, and find your very own treasure.
What content is included, and what is paid?
The official product page describes the no-cost mobile version as including 10 puzzle types with approximately 1,200 variations, 30 plush, five yarn types, and 12 furniture items. These figures refer specifically to that mobile-version section. Separately, the official home page describes the game as having “over 1,200 puzzles”; that wording is a broader promotional description, not a count of redeemable rewards.
Optional paid content is separate from promotional codes, and its availability differs by platform. The FAQ says DLC puzzle sets can appear among randomly selected daily puzzles, so newly added puzzles might not show up immediately. Additional furniture is obtained by completing quests added with DLC. On Switch, the product page says the separately sold Basic Pack is required to use additional DLC.
Rank #3
- Action meets RPG in this new take on the Pokémon series
- Study Pokémon behaviors, sneak up on them, and toss a well-aimed Poké Ball to catch them
- Unleash moves in the speedy agile style or the powerful strong style in battles
- Travel to the Hisui region—the Sinnoh of old—and build the region’s first Pokédex
- Learn about the Mythical Pokémon Arceus, the key to this mysterious tale
Which platforms can play Pokémon Friends?
The game is available on iOS and Android, as well as Nintendo Switch; Switch 2 is also supported. The Switch version is distributed as a digital download. On mobile, the game is free to start and offers optional in-game purchases. Check the relevant regional store for current content and purchase details.
Mobile requirements and connectivity
- The FAQ lists iOS/iPadOS 16.0 and Android 9.0 as minimum operating-system versions, and recommends at least 3 GB of RAM.
- Some devices that meet those specifications may still be unsupported or unstable.
- The FAQ says mobile needs an internet connection when starting the game, but can be played offline afterward. The product page also notes that persistent internet is required and data charges may apply, so consult the current device and regional listing for the applicable terms.
Switch connectivity and cross-platform data
The FAQ says the Switch version can be played without an internet connection. It also says game data cannot be transferred between Switch and mobile, and there are no linked features between those versions.
What to do if you found a code claiming to be for Pokémon Friends
- Check that the offer explicitly names Pokémon Friends and comes from an official Pokémon or Nintendo source.
- Look for official instructions explaining where and how that specific code is redeemed. The official FAQ and product page reviewed here provide no such procedure.
- Do not enter account details on an unrelated code site or treat a code for another Pokémon game, the TCG, or the eShop as a Pokémon Friends reward.
The official description calls Pokémon Friends “A ‘Eureka!’-sparking puzzle game to help untangle your mind.” Its documented route to virtual plush and furniture is through puzzles, yarn, and quests—not a published redeem-code menu.
