How the displays and size differ

Both phones use 120Hz LCD panels, but neither has a Full HD resolution: their listed resolutions are HD+. The POCO’s 6.88-inch display gives you more screen area, which may suit video, reading or larger on-screen controls. The Moto’s 6.5-inch screen is smaller, and its reported dimensions and weight make it the more compact, lighter option. Choose based on how much you value screen space versus handling comfort; these figures do not establish display brightness or image quality.

Performance: what the reported scores can and cannot tell you

91mobiles reports AnTuTu scores of 436,798 for the POCO M7 5G and 449,055 for the Moto G45 5G. These are that publisher’s reported results, not independently reproduced tests here. They are a point of reference, not a guarantee of how either phone will perform in your apps or games. The chipset names alone also do not settle real-world performance; workload, software and configuration matter.

Cameras: hardware is not image quality

Both listings specify a 50MP main rear camera. The Moto also lists a 2MP macro camera, while the POCO listing describes an AI dual rear camera. For selfies, the Moto’s listed 16MP resolution is higher than the POCO’s 8MP. Megapixel counts and camera-module counts do not establish which phone takes better photos: that requires comparable image samples, including in different lighting conditions.

Battery capacity and reported endurance

The listed capacities are close: 5,160mAh for POCO and 5,000mAh for Moto. 91mobiles reports PCMark battery results of 14 hours 27 minutes for the POCO and 9 hours 51 minutes for the Moto. The comparison material does not fully describe the test conditions, so treat these as publisher-reported results rather than a prediction of your own screen-on time. Everyday battery life varies with settings, signal, apps and usage. Both are listed with 18W charging, though the POCO charging figure comes from 91mobiles and the Moto figure from Motorola Support.

Price difference: compare matching variants and live offers

There is no dependable like-for-like price difference in the available snapshots. 91mobiles showed the POCO at ₹12,499 on Flipkart and the Moto as unavailable in its comparison result. Separately, Motorola India’s family page displayed the Moto G45 5G at ₹12,999 against an MRP of ₹14,999. These are source-specific, time-sensitive listings, not simultaneous quotes for matching RAM and storage configurations; do not treat the ₹500 arithmetic difference as a current price gap.

Before buying, compare the same RAM/storage tier and check the seller, stock status, delivery region, and whether a displayed price depends on a bank offer or exchange. The Motorola listing is at Motorola India; the POCO marketplace figure is reported in the 91mobiles comparison.

Which phone should you choose?

  • Choose the POCO M7 5G if a larger 6.88-inch screen is your priority and you have confirmed the exact Indian 5G model and a competitive price for your preferred configuration.
  • Choose the moto g45 5G if you prefer a smaller, lighter phone or value its higher stated selfie-camera resolution, stereo speakers and 3.5mm headset jack.
  • Compare before deciding if performance, camera quality, battery life or price is the deciding factor. The supplied specifications and publisher-reported test results do not establish a universal winner; check comparable current offers and independent evidence relevant to your use.

What to verify before checkout

  1. Confirm that the listing is for the Indian 5G model, not another regional phone with a similar name.
  2. Match RAM and storage on both listings; a price comparison across different configurations is not like for like.
  3. Check the final payable amount, seller and stock, including any bank or exchange conditions.
  4. Review local connectivity details and software-support information for the exact SKU. Motorola cautions that specifications may vary by market; the sources cited here do not establish a full support-duration comparison.
