Performance and cameras: the specifications do not pick a winner
The listed chipsets are Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 for POCO and MediaTek Dimensity 6300 for OPPO. Chipset names alone do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use, gaming or sustained workloads. No comparable benchmark or head-to-head performance test is available here.

Durability claims and their limits
OPPO lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 protection for the K14 5G. Its product information describes IP68 testing in still water at 1.5 metres for 30 minutes and IP69 testing against high-temperature water jets. These are manufacturer specifications under controlled laboratory conditions, not a promise that the phone is waterproof.
OPPO says resistance can decrease through wear, its guidance applies to freshwater, and liquid-ingress damage is not covered by warranty. No corresponding protection claim is established for the POCO in the cited material, so the absence of a listed rating should not be treated as evidence of how it performs in a particular accident.

Historic launch coverage reported introductory India prices for the POCO M7 Plus 5G of ₹12,999 for 6GB/128GB and ₹13,999 for 8GB/128GB. Those figures are from a different launch period and do not establish today’s price. The available information does not verify current prices for both phones, so it cannot support a dependable current price gap.
To work out the difference when shopping, compare the same RAM and storage configuration at the same time, and use the actual retailer price after any applicable offer. OPPO’s 6GB/128GB launch configuration can be compared with POCO’s reported 6GB/128GB configuration, for example, but subtracting their historical launch figures would describe only those launch prices—not what either phone costs now.
