Pixel 7a Benchmark Scores: AnTuTu, Geekbench and PCMark Results

Notebookcheck’s Pixel 7a results include 657,414 in AnTuTu v9, 1,428/3,383 in Geekbench 6.7, and 11,736 in PCMark Work 3.x. Scores vary by version and test source.

Notebookcheck’s 2023 review recorded the Google Pixel 7a at 657,414 in AnTuTu v9, 1,428 single-core and 3,383 multi-core in Geekbench 6.7, and 11,736 in PCMark for Android Work 3.x. Those are version-specific results, not guaranteed scores for every Pixel 7a: results vary by benchmark release, software state and test run.

Google Pixel 7a benchmark scores at a glance

Benchmark and version Pixel 7a score Source and context
AnTuTu v9 657,414 Notebookcheck review table, 2023
Geekbench 5.5 1,036 single-core / 3,093 multi-core Notebookcheck review table, 2023
Geekbench 6.7 1,428 single-core / 3,383 multi-core Notebookcheck review table, 2023
PCMark for Android Work 3.x 11,736 Notebookcheck review table, 2023

Notebookcheck’s figures belong to its own review testing. UL Benchmarks also publishes Pixel 7a device-page scores, but describes those as medians of user-submitted results, so they represent a different kind of evidence: UL Benchmarks. A review-run score and a user-submission median should not be treated as interchangeable measurements.

What the different scores measure

AnTuTu: an overall benchmark score

The AnTuTu v9 result is a combined score from that benchmark release. The Pixel 7a’s 657,414 should be compared with other phones tested on AnTuTu v9 under similar conditions, not with a number from a later AnTuTu release as though the scale were unchanged.

Geekbench: CPU single-core and multi-core

Geekbench reports separate CPU results. Single-core reflects performance in workloads using one core; multi-core reflects workloads that can use multiple cores. Notebookcheck reported 1,428 and 3,383, respectively, for Geekbench 6.7. Its Geekbench 5.5 results—1,036 and 3,093—are from a different release and should be compared only with Geekbench 5 results. Geekbench’s result page likewise cautions that Geekbench 6 scores are comparable with other Geekbench 6 results: Geekbench Browser.

PCMark: productivity-oriented workloads

Notebookcheck recorded 11,736 in PCMark for Android Work 3.x. PCMark is a separate benchmark family from Geekbench and AnTuTu, so its score does not share their scales and cannot be used as a direct substitute for either CPU result or overall AnTuTu score.

Why published Pixel 7a scores differ

  • Benchmark version: A new release can change test workloads and scoring, so values from different versions are not automatically comparable.
  • Test context: Review testing, an individual browser submission and an aggregate of user submissions are different source types. Software state and test conditions can also affect a result.
  • One result is not a typical score: Geekbench Browser shows an individual Pixel 7a submission uploaded July 6, 2026: Geekbench 6.7.1 recorded 1,373 single-core and 2,778 multi-core on Android 16. This is one submitted run, not a representative average.
  • Aggregates have their own limits: UL says its device-page scores are medians of user-submitted results. NanoReview provides secondary summaries, but its PCMark 3.0 summary does not clearly identify a test-run date.

Later benchmark versions need separate labels

NanoReview lists an AnTuTu 11 summary of 1,126,520 and shows dated individual submissions that vary, including submissions from 2026. This is a later-version summary, not a repeat of the AnTuTu v9 test. Do not read the higher figure as evidence that the Pixel 7a’s performance increased by a comparable percentage: the benchmark version and score scale differ.

NanoReview also lists a PCMark 3.0 summary of 10,615. Because the page does not clearly state when that summary’s test run occurred, treat it as a secondary summary rather than an independently reproduced result. The PCMark version label also differs from Notebookcheck’s Work 3.x reporting.

How to compare the Pixel 7a with another phone

  1. Match the benchmark family and version. Compare AnTuTu v9 with AnTuTu v9, or Geekbench 6 with Geekbench 6—not across releases.
  2. Match the kind of result. Prefer review runs against review runs, or aggregate medians against aggregate medians. Identify an individual submission as a single result.
  3. Keep the score type straight. Compare Geekbench single-core with single-core and multi-core with multi-core. Do not rank those alongside AnTuTu or PCMark values as if they measured the same workload.
  4. Check the software and test context. Note operating-system version and available conditions when the source provides them; these help explain why two otherwise similar results may differ.

What hardware is being benchmarked?

The Pixel 7a is powered by Google Tensor G2. UL’s device listing identifies 8,192 MB of memory and 128 GB of storage. Google’s product announcement describes Tensor G2 features including Super Res Zoom up to 8x, but that product-feature information is not a benchmark result: Google’s Pixel 7a announcement.
