AVG maintains an iOS support FAQ covering setup and activation. Its general product page also lists iOS support, but any desktop-oriented offer shown there should not be treated as the current iOS trial offer.
What happens when the trial ends?
AVG Support says: “When your free trial ends, your selected subscription automatically starts so that you can continue using AVG Secure VPN. You are charged for your subscription on the day that your free-trial period ends.” The FAQ does not establish a current iOS trial duration or renewal price. Use the offer shown during your own signup to determine those terms.

If you subscribed directly through AVG
The steps above apply to App Store billing. If your purchase is billed directly by AVG, manage it through your AVG Account instead. AVG notes that subscriptions purchased through a third party, such as an app store, can have different cancellation and refund terms from subscriptions bought directly from AVG. Cancellation does not itself establish a right to a refund.

Activation and help with iOS setup
For AVG Secure VPN iOS app version 2.0 and later, AVG says activation codes cannot be used. An App Store subscription activates automatically on the device used to purchase it; signing in to an AVG Account can also activate a qualifying subscription connected with that account. For setup, connection, cancellation, or other iOS troubleshooting, see AVG’s iOS support hub.
