The Google Pixel 10a is the smaller, lighter option, and Google announced it at a US starting price of $499. The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE gives you a larger display and a dedicated telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The better fit depends on which features matter most—and on current prices for the same storage tier in your market.

How much more does the Galaxy S25 FE cost?
On the US launch-price references available here, the Pixel 10a was announced at $499 and Android Central reported an original US launch price of $650 for the Galaxy S25 FE—a $151 difference before tax. That is a comparison of launch prices, not a current price gap. Later offers may change the difference, and the phones could be priced closer together or even in the opposite order today. Android Central’s launch-price comparison
To make a useful current comparison, check both phones in the same country and at the same time, with matching storage capacity and equivalent unlocked or carrier status. Include warranty coverage and promotions in the calculation. A US price should not be compared directly with a price in another country or currency.

Which phone is easier to carry and use?
The Pixel 10a is 6.3 inches and 183g; the Galaxy S25 FE is 6.7 inches and 190g. The Pixel is therefore the more compact choice on the published measurements. The Samsung is larger, which may suit people who prefer more screen area for reading, video or multitasking, but its dimensions may be less convenient for one-handed use or smaller pockets.
Both displays are listed with refresh rates reaching 120Hz. Their resolutions and display technologies differ, so the specification figures alone do not establish which screen looks better in everyday use.

Which phone has the better camera?
The S25 FE has a distinct hardware advantage for distant subjects: Samsung lists a dedicated 8MP telephoto camera and 3x optical zoom, alongside its wide and ultrawide cameras. Google lists a dual rear-camera system for the Pixel 10a. The available Pixel specifications cited here do not provide a detailed sensor configuration, so this comparison cannot establish an equivalent optical-zoom capability for it.

These specifications are not a head-to-head image-quality test, and megapixel counts do not tell the whole story. What do the battery and chip specifications tell you?
Google lists a typical 5,100mAh battery for the Pixel 10a, compared with Samsung’s typical 4,900mAh figure for the S25 FE. Capacity is not the same as battery life: screen size, software, network conditions and use all affect how long a phone lasts. These figures do not establish which model will run longer in real-world use.
The phones use different processors—Tensor G4 in the Pixel and Exynos 2400 in the Galaxy. Without comparable performance or sustained-load testing, the chip names alone are not enough to declare a speed or efficiency winner.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Pixel 10a if you want the smaller and lighter phone, prefer Google’s software experience, and find its current price attractive for the storage you need.
- Choose the Galaxy S25 FE if you want the larger screen or specifically value a dedicated telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and its current price works for you.
- Compare before buying if you are choosing mainly on price: verify matching storage, market, carrier status, warranty and promotions rather than relying on launch prices.
Check regional details before ordering
The specification sources do not establish that every market receives the same configuration. Samsung’s cited listing is for the UK, while Google’s cited technical page is a Pixel support page. Confirm the exact regional model, storage, network-band support, included accessories, warranty and current software information with the seller or manufacturer for the country where you will use the phone.
