Motorola also supports a separately sold stylus. The published prices below come from different markets, so they do not establish a direct price gap.
How the two foldables compare
The figures below are manufacturer specifications, not results from matched independent tests. Google’s specifications are from its Pixel 10 Pro Fold tech specs; Motorola’s are from its razr fold announcement.

What the specifications mean in everyday use
Screen size and handling
The inner displays are close in diagonal size: 8 inches for Pixel and 8.1 inches for razr fold. The outer displays differ by the manufacturers’ figures, at 6.4 and 6.6 inches respectively. Google publishes more detail about its screen resolution, refresh rates and peak brightness; Motorola describes its inner screen as a 2K LTPO canvas and calls it its brightest foldable display. Those are vendor descriptions, not a matched brightness test.
Motorola’s stated open and closed thicknesses are lower than Google’s, but the listed dimensions alone do not establish which phone feels better in a pocket or in hand. The Pixel’s weight is specified; the cited Motorola announcement does not give a comparable figure.
#1 Best Overall
Battery capacity and charging
Motorola lists the larger typical battery capacity, while also advertising higher wired and wireless charging maxima. Actual charging speed depends on using the required charger, and maximum rates are not a guarantee of sustained charging speed.
Capacity does not settle which phone lasts longer between charges. Google’s 24+ hour claim and Motorola’s battery claims are not presented as results from a common test, so they cannot establish a head-to-head runtime winner.
Rank #2
- Unfold extraordinary with Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold; with Pixel’s largest screen and Gemini, Google’s most advanced AI, it’s made for multitasking and entertainment[1]
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan[2]; it works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers
- Get a head start on syncing your data before it even arrives: After you purchase your new Pixel, look for an email that explains how to transfer your photos, videos, passwords, and more in just a few quick steps[14]
- The gearless, high-strength hinge makes it durable enough to handle about 10 years of folding[3]; plus, Pixel 10 Pro Fold is built with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance[4]
- The brighter-than-ever 8-inch Super Actua Flex display is Pixel’s largest screen yet[12]; and you can use Split Screen to plan a trip, drag and drop images, and open multiple apps at once[5]
Cameras and processing
The camera specifications show different hardware choices: Pixel lists a 5× telephoto lens, while razr fold lists a 3× periscope telephoto lens and 50 MP sensors across its rear camera system. Motorola’s advertised 100× zoom and Google’s 20× Super Res Zoom are different vendor-described zoom limits; the figures do not, on their own, show how much useful detail either phone captures at high zoom. Megapixel counts also do not determine photo quality or the final resolution of a processed image.

Durability evidence
Google explicitly specifies IP68 dust and water resistance for the Pixel. Motorola’s announcement describes materials and construction, and includes a qualified internal drop-performance claim, but the cited announcement does not state an IP rating. That omission is not proof that the razr fold has no ingress protection; it means the cited information does not support a direct rating comparison.

Motorola’s announcement gives a European MSRP of €1,999 and says the moto pen ultra is bundled in Europe. It also describes availability in select countries, but its “coming months” wording is not a current stock confirmation. The announcement does not verify a current U.S. price or present-day availability. See the Google U.S. Store configuration and Motorola announcement for the original market-specific figures.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesThese amounts should not be treated as a direct price difference: one is a U.S. store listing by Pixel storage tier, and the other is a European Motorola MSRP with a stated stylus bundle. For a useful comparison, check local checkout prices for the same country, storage capacity and bundle at the same time. Currency conversion alone would not account for taxes, local pricing or included accessories.
Which foldable may suit you?
- Consider the Pixel 10 Pro Fold if Google’s Pixel software experience or its explicitly documented IP68 rating is a priority. Google’s launch announcement provides additional feature context.
- Consider the Motorola razr fold if its larger stated battery capacity, advertised charging rates or moto pen ultra workflow matters to you. Check whether the stylus is sold separately or bundled in your market.
- Compare current local listings before buying if price is decisive. The available figures here do not show a like-for-like U.S. price comparison or confirm current Motorola stock.
Neither set of specifications establishes an overall winner. Before choosing, weigh the screen and camera features you will use, handling and weight, charging needs, durability evidence and local price; seek independent tests of both exact models if measured battery life, camera results or performance will decide the purchase.
