Pilot Mexico lists fine and medium points, black, blue, and red ink, and low-friction ink with a rubber grip; those comfort and writing descriptions are the manufacturer’s claims, not independent test results. The right choice depends on the format and refill code you need.
What Pilot EasyTouch versions are listed?
Pilot Mexico describes two formats: a capped EasyTouch and a retractable EasyTouch RT. Its product page also lists fine and medium points and black, blue, and red ink options. These are details for Pilot Mexico’s catalog, not a guarantee that every option is sold in every market. Pilot Mexico’s EasyTouch product page presents the range as ballpoint pens with a stainless-steel tip and rubber grip.

How do the capped and retractable models differ?
| Version | Format | Refill code listed by Pilot Mexico |
|---|---|---|
| EasyTouch | Capped | BRFL |
| EasyTouch RT | Retractable | BRFS |
The clearest practical distinction in the available product information is the format and the refill designation. The sources do not establish that one version writes better than the other. Pilot’s catalog also lists both EasyTouch names and refill codes. Pilot catalog
Which refill fits a Pilot EasyTouch?
Pilot Mexico identifies BRFL for the capped EasyTouch and BRFS for EasyTouch RT. Check the model name and refill code printed on the pen or its packaging before ordering; do not assume that a refill for one version fits the other. Pilot Mexico’s EasyTouch product page and Pilot catalog support this model-to-code distinction. Pilot Europe provides general refill lookup guidance by pen type, but does not confirm these EasyTouch codes for other markets. Pilot Europe’s refill guidance

What does “fantastic writing experience” mean here?
Pilot Mexico promotes EasyTouch with low-friction ink and an ergonomic rubber grip, and uses the marketing phrase “¡La nueva sensación en bolígrafos!” (“The new sensation in ballpoint pens!”). Those are manufacturer descriptions. The available sources provide no independent comparison or performance measurements showing that EasyTouch outperforms other pens, and writing comfort is subjective.
What should you check before buying?
- Choose capped EasyTouch or retractable EasyTouch RT based on the format you prefer.
- Check whether the point option you want—fine or medium—is offered by the local seller.
- Confirm the ink color; Pilot Mexico lists black, blue, and red.
- If buying a refill, match the code to the exact version: BRFL for EasyTouch or BRFS for EasyTouch RT.
- Verify local availability and compatibility on the product or package. Product names and options may vary by market.
No current retailer price, seller, stock status, or shipping region is established by the cited product information, so check those details with the seller before purchase.
