What does Pikmin 3 Deluxe include?
This Nintendo Switch strategy adventure follows three explorers stranded on planet PNF-404 as they gather food and try to reunite with one another. Players direct Pikmin with different abilities to cross obstacles, collect fruit, and battle creatures, while switching among three captains.

Can two people play together?
Yes. Nintendo lists single-system play for one or two players. Story mode supports split-screen co-op, and players can switch between solo and co-op during a game. Bingo Battle also supports two players on one system.

Bingo Battle sharing on Switch 2
Nintendo Support documents GameShare options for Bingo Battle, including local play between consoles and online play through GameChat, with Nintendo Switch 2 hosting requirements. Treat these as Switch 2-specific options, not general online features for original Nintendo Switch systems. The support page has the applicable conditions: Nintendo’s multiplayer guidance.
Try the demo before buying
Nintendo offers a demo with samples of Story mode and Mission mode. A second player can join the demo, and progress transfers to the full game. Nintendo says defeating the first boss in the demo and transferring that save data unlocks Ultra-Spicy difficulty in the full game.

What the 1.2.0 update changes on Switch 2
Nintendo Support lists software update Ver. 1.2.0 as released August 31, 2026. On Nintendo Switch 2, it adds support for the Switch 2 display and high-resolution televisions, plus GameShare options for Bingo Battle. Nintendo says the update makes no changes when playing on Nintendo Switch, so it should not be described as an upgrade to the original Switch version.
