When does the 2026 Phasmophobia Halloween event start?
The Crimson Eye event is scheduled for October 8–November 1, 2026. Kinetic Games initially listed the patch for October 6, then corrected the patch date to October 7; the announcement says the event start date remains October 8. It does not specify the event’s opening time or time zone. Kinetic Games’ announcement is the source for the dates and correction.

Which locations are included?
The announcement names eight featured locations:
- 6 Tanglewood Drive
- 42 Edgefield Road
- Grafton Farmhouse
- 13 Willow Street
- Bleasdale Farmhouse
- Point Hope (Standard only)
- Camp Woodwind
- Nell’s Diner
Point Hope Restricted is excluded. Kinetic Games says Nell’s Diner and reworked versions of 6 Tanglewood Drive and 13 Willow Street will be dressed in red for the event.
How does event play and earning points work?
Playing the featured locations earns event points. Kinetic Games identifies three point-earning activities: hunting Blood Moon totems, completing investigations and completing optional objectives. Blood Moon weather increases the challenge from ghosts. The announcement does not give point thresholds for individual rewards, so players will need to check the in-game event board for the live unlock requirements.

What are the Crimson Eye rewards?
Kinetic Games lists four reward categories for the seasonal event:
- A seasonal event tee
- The Beholder ID Card and Badge set
- A Blood Moon charm
- An upgradeable trophy
Players who already unlocked the trophy continue earning points and upgrades toward that existing trophy; the announcement does not say they receive a second one. It also does not publish a complete reward-by-reward unlock table.

How to get the Crimson Eye Twitch Drop
The Crimson Eye tee is also the announced Twitch Drop reward. Watch a total of two hours of Phasmophobia streams before the Drop campaign closes at 11:59 PM BST on October 15, 2026. This stream-viewing requirement is separate from earning points in the game; the announcement does not state that a paid subscription is required.

When are Double XP and Rewards?
Double XP & Rewards are scheduled for October 15–22, 2026. During this window, rewards from completed investigations are doubled. This is a separate event window from both the Crimson Eye dates and the Twitch Drop deadline.

What is Ghost Hunts 4 Hearts?
Kinetic Games has scheduled Ghost Hunts 4 Hearts with the American Heart Association for October 26–November 1, 2026. The developer says the event and rewards will be accessible to Phasmophobia creators and players when it goes live, but the announcement does not yet specify the activities or reward conditions. Kinetic Games reports that the community raised over $100,000 during the previous year’s Ghost Hunts 4 Hearts; that figure is the developer’s report, not an independently audited total.

The official announcement opens, “Once more, Ghost Hunters, we pay homage to the Blood Moon. Our dear Crimson Eye.” It is attributed to Kinetic Games; no individual speaker is named. Crimson Eye also appears in the developer’s 2026 roadmap as a returning seasonal event, alongside Cursed Hollow and Winter’s Jest.
