When does Phantom Blade Zero come out?
S-GAME lists October 29, 2026, as the release date on its official site. In a PlayStation Blog post dated August 17, 2026, S-GAME founder and CEO Soulframe Liang says the game is set to release October 29, with October 28 applying in the US and select regions. The Steam listing also shows October 28. These are regional date differences for the same scheduled launch, not evidence of separate releases.

Which platforms are confirmed at launch?
The official PlayStation announcement and storefront listing identify PS5 and PC as launch platforms. Steam lists S-GAME Studio as developer and S-GAME Publishing as publisher. The sources reviewed do not confirm an Xbox or Nintendo Switch 2 launch version. That means there is no established launch option for those consoles; it does not prove that a version could never be announced later.
Is Phantom Blade Zero coming to Xbox?
No Xbox launch version has been announced in the official sources reviewed. Shane the Gamer and iGame Magazine report that the PS5 console-exclusivity period is 12 months, but S-GAME has not confirmed that duration in the primary sources cited here. Treat the window as secondary reporting, not an official promise that an Xbox version will follow.

Where can PC and PS5 players check availability?
PC players can check the Steam listing or Epic Games Store listing and compare their hardware with current requirements. PS5 players should check the PlayStation Store for their region. The sources reviewed do not establish a physical PS5 edition, so confirm the format and edition on the regional store before buying.
What kind of game is Phantom Blade Zero?
Phantom Blade Zero is an action RPG set in the Wulin, a dark wuxia world shaped by conflict and intrigue. Players control Soul, a warrior framed for murdering his master. A wound leaves him with 66 days to live as he tries to uncover a conspiracy and evades those pursuing him. S-GAME says encounters with citizens in need can open story paths and reveal more about the setting.

How does combat work, and are there difficulty options?
In its PlayStation Blog breakdown, S-GAME describes a customizable combat system with more than 30 main weapons and 25 secondary weapons called Phantom Edges. Weapons can be upgraded and paired with accessories; summons can help in fights. Upgraded weapons can also be reforged so materials can be reinvested in another build.
- Wayfarer: Intended for players who want to focus on the story.
- Hellwalker: Features more advanced, adaptive enemy intelligence, according to S-GAME.
- Sixty-Six Days: A demanding challenge.
S-GAME also says Donnie Yen served as creative consultant and performed facial and motion capture for Mó Yuan. That credit does not mean he directed or developed the game.

What editions and prices are listed?
S-GAME’s official site lists Standard and Deluxe editions. It describes Treasure Basin as an early-unlock accessory and Legacy as an early-unlock outfit, while saying both items can also be earned through in-game progression. The Deluxe edition adds two outfits, a digital artbook, and a digital soundtrack. Contents and availability may vary by region or storefront.
When checked, Steam displayed US prices of $59.99 for Standard and $69.99 for Digital Deluxe. These are time- and region-sensitive storefront prices, not a guarantee of what buyers elsewhere will pay; check the listing for the current price. The official site also notes that edition and pre-order details are subject to change.

Should you wait for another console version?
If you want to play at launch, the supported routes established by the cited sources are PS5 and PC. Xbox and Switch 2 players should wait for an official platform announcement rather than rely on an exclusivity-window report as confirmation of a later port. Because the game has not launched yet, platform availability and storefront details may still change.
