pCloud’s individual plans range from a free allowance of up to 10 GB to paid tiers of 500 GB, 2 TB, and 10 TB. The right choice depends not only on storage, but also on shared-link traffic, upload limits, how many people need accounts, and whether you prefer a subscription or an upfront lifetime purchase. Prices vary by region and promotion, so confirm the amount and billing period at checkout.
What pCloud plans are available?
For one person, pCloud lists a free Basic plan and three paid storage tiers. Family is aimed at households needing separate accounts, while Business is designed for teams.

Storage is only one limit to compare. pCloud also lists monthly allowances for shared-link traffic and upload traffic during a 30-day period. These figures are vendor-listed plan limits, not independent performance measurements.

| Plan | Storage | Shared-link traffic per month | Upload traffic per 30 days |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | Up to 10 GB | 50 GB | Up to twice the storage |
| Premium | 500 GB | 1 TB | Up to 1 TB |
| Premium Plus | 2 TB | 4 TB | Up to 4 TB |
| Ultra | 10 TB | 20 TB | Up to 4 TB |
Shared-link traffic is relevant if other people regularly download or stream files you share. Upload traffic matters when adding substantial amounts of data. The limits do not rise in lockstep with storage: for example, Ultra lists more storage than Premium Plus but the same maximum upload traffic.
Included features listed by pCloud
pCloud’s pricing page lists file recovery for up to 30 days, sync, offline access, sharing tools, phone-gallery and desktop backup, Photos, and Docs among its premium features. These are product-page descriptions; they do not establish independent findings about speed, reliability, or security.

Which pCloud plan should you choose?
Choose Basic if the free space is enough
Basic is a reasonable starting point if your files fit within the free allowance and you do not need the premium plan features. The account begins with 2 GB; reaching the stated maximum of 10 GB requires completing pCloud’s onboarding steps and referrals.
Choose Premium for a smaller personal library
Premium provides 500 GB. Estimate the space used by your current files, then leave headroom for new photos, documents, and backups. Also check whether its 1 TB shared-link traffic and up to 1 TB of upload traffic meet your usage needs.
Rank #3
- Easily store and access 1TB to content on the go with the Seagate Portable Drive, a USB external hard drive.Specific uses: Personal
- Designed to work with Windows or Mac computers, this external hard drive makes backup a snap just drag and drop. Reformatting may be required for Mac

- The available storage capacity may vary.
Choose Premium Plus for more room
Premium Plus raises individual storage to 2 TB, with 4 TB of monthly shared-link traffic and up to 4 TB of upload traffic. It is the middle tier to consider if 500 GB would be tight but 10 TB would be unnecessary.
Choose Ultra for a large personal archive
Ultra offers 10 TB and 20 TB of shared-link traffic per month. Its listed upload limit is up to 4 TB per 30 days, so do not assume that the larger storage capacity also means a higher upload allowance than Premium Plus.
Rank #4

Consider Family when people need separate accounts
Family is presented as a lifetime plan for up to five accounts, each with a private space. The owner manages membership and storage quotas, so check how the pool can be divided among members before buying. The official Family page showed $749 for 2 TB and $1,849 for 10 TB, while another official promotion-page variant showed $595 and $1,499. Those conflicting displays do not establish a stable price; treat the checkout amount and terms for your region as authoritative.

Business is the team-oriented option for organization, access levels, and activity tracking. pCloud’s help center describes monthly and annual subscriptions, a 20% saving with annual billing relative to monthly, and a one-month trial for five users. Review current eligibility, user limits, and service terms before relying on those details.

How should you compare monthly, annual, and lifetime billing?
Monthly and annual individual prices appear on pCloud pricing-page variants; consumer plans also appear with lifetime options. Family is described as lifetime-only, while Business uses monthly or annual subscriptions. A lifetime offer requires a larger upfront payment and only makes sense if you expect to use the service long enough to justify it. Compare the live checkout price with the subscription period you realistically expect to keep, and review refund and eligibility terms before committing.
pCloud’s pricing page states, “Prices are final. No setup fees or other hidden charges!” That is the vendor’s statement; confirm the amount, currency, and applicable terms shown for your purchase.
Quick Recap
What to check before paying
- Confirm the storage tier against your current files and likely growth.
- Check shared-link traffic and upload traffic separately from storage.
- For Family, verify the account count, owner controls, quota allocation, and current price.
- For Business, verify the current user and administration terms, trial eligibility, and billing options.
- For any lifetime purchase, compare the upfront price against a realistic use period and read the current checkout and refund terms.
- If your important files need an additional copy, a separate local backup—such as an external hard drive—is optional and is not included with the pCloud plan.
