What the NN-ST641W offers
Panasonic identifies the NN-ST641W as a household inverter microwave. The operating manual reviewed is an August 2011-era document for a 230–240 V, 50 Hz version. Check the identification plate on your own unit: Panasonic says voltage, production month, country and serial number are listed there, and specifications may change without notice.

The manual documents manual microwave cooking by power and time, Turbo Defrost with entered food weight, Auto Cook, Auto Reheat and Frozen Reheat. It also describes a clock, child safety lock, kitchen timer, standing time and delay start. It does not establish a count of automatic programs or a sensor-reheat feature, so neither should be assumed.

These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements or heating-test results. In particular, 1,100 W is the stated microwave output; the separate 1,000 W figure is power consumption and should not be read as the cooking-output rating.

What the controls mean in everyday use
Manual cooking and defrosting
Manual mode lets the user choose microwave power and cooking time. Turbo Defrost uses a weight entered by the user. That gives you a manual route when an automatic program is not the right fit, but the available documentation does not establish how evenly or quickly the oven heats compared with other models.
Automatic cooking and reheating
Auto Cook, Auto Reheat and Frozen Reheat are named functions in the manual. The documentation does not support claims about a humidity sensor, a specific number of menus, or results for particular foods. For a purchase decision, regard these as documented preset options rather than evidence of better reheating performance.

Timer, delay and child lock
The clock, kitchen timer, standing-time and delay-start functions cover timing tasks beyond active cooking. A child safety lock is also listed. Consult the manual for the exact button sequence for the unit, rather than assuming controls are identical across related Panasonic models.
Fit, ventilation and installation
The oven’s listed exterior measures 525 × 310 × 388 mm, but those dimensions alone do not establish the clearances required for safe countertop placement. Follow the installation instructions for your unit and leave the required ventilation space.

For built-in-style installation, Panasonic lists trim kit NN-TK611SW. The kit’s listed outside dimensions are 596 × 410 mm, and the cabinet opening dimensions are 562 × 395 × 480 mm. The documentation does not confirm whether the kit is currently sold or suitable for a particular cabinet; check current fitment and installation guidance before buying or installing it.
Glass tray and care
The tray is specified as 340 mm in diameter, but that measurement does not prove that a generic replacement will fit or work safely. Panasonic’s instruction is explicit: “Only use the Glass Tray specifically designed for this oven. Do not substitute another Glass Tray.” The manual reviewed does not give a replacement part number. If the tray is missing or damaged, confirm NN-ST641W compatibility with the seller or an authorized service channel instead of choosing by diameter alone.

For routine care, Panasonic recommends unplugging the oven before cleaning when possible, wiping the cavity with a damp cloth and mild detergent if needed, and keeping water out of ventilation openings. After cleaning, return the roller ring and glass tray to their correct positions. The manual also says to place food on a microwave-safe dish or rack rather than directly on the glass tray.

Safety points in Panasonic’s instructions
- Do not operate the oven empty.
- Where appropriate, pierce foods with nonporous skins before heating.
- Stir liquids before heating and midway through heating.
- Let heated liquids stand briefly, then stir before removing them.
These are manufacturer instructions, not findings from a product test. Follow the complete operating manual and the instructions supplied with your own unit.

Is the Panasonic NN-ST641W worth buying?
The manual establishes a fairly large 32 L cavity, stated 1,100 W microwave output, inverter designation, and a useful range of manual, preset, defrost and timing functions. It does not establish current stock, price, condition, warranty, parts availability, owner sentiment, or comparative heating performance. Whether it is worth buying therefore depends on the specific unit and offer: verify its identification plate and condition, confirm the tray is present and compatible, and check that installation and service support make sense in your country. Without those checks, the specifications alone cannot establish value against current models.
