PagePeeker Alternatives for Full-Page Website Screenshots

Compare screenshot APIs and browser tools as PagePeeker alternatives, with guidance on full-page capture, integration, pricing terms and choosing for your workflow.
Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

If you need full-page captures in an application or automated workflow, start with ScreenshotNeo: it removes common consent banners, popups and chat widgets before capture, and bills only clean shots. For API alternatives, ScreenshotOne, Urlbox and GetScreenshot by Rasterwise are also worth comparing. If you capture pages manually, FireShot, OpenCapture or Firefox’s built-in screenshot feature may fit better; browser tools capture pages you have open, while APIs are designed to be called from code.

First check what PagePeeker includes

PagePeeker markets full-page screenshots as a premium feature. Its current pricing table lists Basic at $5.99 per month and Advanced at $39.99 per month, with 100,000 and 1,000,000 API calls per month respectively. The table marks full-length screenshots unavailable on those two tiers and available on Premium. It also lists seven days of Basic caching. These are PagePeeker’s vendor-listed terms checked in 2026, not guaranteed future prices or entitlements; confirm the current table before choosing a plan. PagePeeker pricing

PagePeeker describes controls for page width and maximum height, compression and image format, thumbnail sizes, overlays, and render wait times. If the obstacle is specifically full-length capture eligibility, compare the total cost of the required PagePeeker plan with alternatives rather than comparing headline request quotas alone.

Hosted screenshot API alternatives

1. ScreenshotNeo — clean captures and clear billing outcomes

ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server for developers. Its differentiator for full-page workflows is that it accepts cookie or consent banners and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups and chat widgets before capture; each step can be switched off. Bot checks or CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads and cache hits are not billed, and response headers indicate the page verdict and billing status. It also offers full-page capture with lazy images loaded, element capture, viewport and device controls, PDF output, and other rendering options. These features are available across its plans.

To make a screenshot request, use an API key and pass the target URL. The API returns an image or PDF according to the requested options. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for the supported parameters and output settings.

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp

ScreenshotNeo’s parameter names also work with those used by other screenshot APIs, which can ease a migration. It also provides an MCP server with take_screenshot, get_page_info and capture_pdf tools for Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients.

2. ScreenshotOne — full-page behavior and rendering controls

ScreenshotOne’s documentation says its full-page mode scrolls the page to trigger lazy-loaded images and other resources. It documents viewport and element selection and alternate full-page capture algorithms; its product page also lists custom CSS and JavaScript controls. Consider it when missing lazy content, page-specific rendering or application integration is the main issue. ScreenshotOne lists 100 free screenshots per month on its current product page; that is a vendor-published allowance, not a third-party test result, and may change. 3. Urlbox — URL and HTML inputs with multiple integration styles

Urlbox describes an API for turning URLs and HTML into screenshots, PDFs and videos, and for extracting text, HTML and metadata. Its documentation covers embeddable render links as well as synchronous and asynchronous JSON API calls. Its product page presents full-page controls. Compare the integration style and output types you need; documented controls do not guarantee that every site will render perfectly. Urlbox product page · Urlbox documentation

4. GetScreenshot by Rasterwise — rendering strategy and retrieval window

GetScreenshot accepts a URL and can return image output. Its API reference describes rendering strategies, including Puppeteer’s native full-page capture. Rasterwise states that standard requests time out after 30 seconds and captures remain retrievable for 30 days. Those figures apply to Rasterwise’s service terms, not screenshot APIs generally; check current account terms and whether your workflow can retrieve outputs within that window. Browser-based alternatives for manual captures

FireShot — capture and annotate pages already open

FireShot describes full-page, visible-area and selected-area captures, editing and annotation, multiple output formats, capture of all open tabs and batch mode. It suits manual work in a browser better than an application that needs to call a hosted endpoint. FireShot

OpenCapture — local extension workflow

OpenCapture describes full-page, viewport and region captures, editing, and PNG or PDF exports for Chrome, Edge and Firefox. The project says captures are not uploaded and exports remain local. Treat that as the project’s own privacy statement; inspect current extension permissions and the project before handling sensitive pages. OpenCapture

Firefox Screenshots — built into the browser

Mozilla documents a built-in feature that can capture visible or full web pages and copy or save the image. It is convenient for occasional captures in Firefox, but it is not an API or automated capture service. Mozilla Firefox Screenshots help

GoFullPage — check the current store listing

GoFullPage is another relevant browser-extension option. Its Chrome Web Store listing showed version 8.9 dated September 24, 2026. That dated listing does not establish future availability or compatibility; consult the official listing for current details. GoFullPage on the Chrome Web Store

Choose by workflow, capture needs and operating terms

  • Workflow: Use a browser feature or extension to save a page you are viewing. Choose an API when captures must run from an application, website or automated job.
  • Completeness: Check how full-page mode handles lazy-loaded images, scrolling, complex layouts and animation. A label such as “full page” alone does not establish that every page’s content will appear.
  • Rendering controls: Match the service’s viewport or device sizing, selector targeting, wait behavior, CSS or JavaScript controls, and output format to the pages you capture.
  • Integration: Determine whether you need an embeddable render URL, a synchronous response, asynchronous jobs, an MCP tool or browser batch capture.
  • Economics and retention: Compare monthly request limits, which plans include full-page capture, overage terms, caching and how long generated files can be retrieved. Vendor prices and entitlements can change.

There is no single best choice for every manual extension workflow. OpenCapture’s comparison page makes that point explicitly, listing needs such as screen recording, a cloud library, Firefox support, readable code or free features as differentiators. That is the project’s perspective, not an independent comparative test. OpenCapture comparison

Or skip the browser setup

Make one GET request to capture a URL with ScreenshotNeo:

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp

Cookie banners, popups and chat widgets are removed before the shot; bot checks, blank pages and failed loads are never billed. An MCP server lets AI agents take screenshots. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. Sign up for ScreenshotNeo free.

Evidence and compliance use

A screenshot feature alone does not establish that a capture is legally or procedurally reliable evidence. For compliance or legal records, evaluate provenance, retention, auditability and the provider’s terms separately from whether it can render a full page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a browser extension replace a screenshot API?

Only if your workflow is manual. Extensions capture pages from a browser; an API can be called by an application or automated job.

Are full-page screenshot tools guaranteed to capture every part of a page?

No. Lazy loading, scrolling behavior, animation and layout complexity can affect the result, so check the provider’s documented capture behavior against your pages.
