You can view Outlook events in Samsung Calendar, but the setup depends on the account: a work or school account using Microsoft Exchange follows Samsung’s documented Exchange steps, while Samsung’s U.S. instructions do not spell out one complete setup path for every personal Outlook.com account. Start by checking whether the Outlook account is already present in Samsung Calendar.
Check whether Outlook is already connected
- Open Calendar on your Galaxy device.
- Tap Menu and open the available calendar list.
- If Outlook is listed, expand the account and make sure the calendar you want is selected. Events from an unchecked calendar will not appear in the app.
- If Outlook is not listed, you may need to add the account or sign in. The next steps depend on whether it is a work or school account that uses Exchange.
Samsung says Galaxy Calendar can sync with Outlook Calendar. The account and its selected calendar determine what appears in the app. Samsung’s Calendar sync troubleshooting guide gives the account-list checks.

Add a work or school account that uses Exchange
Many workplace and school email and calendar accounts use Microsoft Exchange. Samsung cautions: “Most school and workplace email and calendar accounts sync with a Microsoft Exchange server. This is not the same as the Outlook.com email service.” Do not treat the Exchange setup route as a universal method for personal Outlook.com accounts.

- Tap Menu, then Manage calendars.
- Tap Add, then select Exchange.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to sign in and configure the account.
Samsung says many Exchange servers configure automatically. If your organization uses an uncommon server or the prompts request settings you do not have, contact your IT department for the required server details. The exact menus can vary with device software and region; follow the labels shown on your Galaxy device if they differ. See Samsung’s Exchange and Calendar troubleshooting instructions.

If events still do not appear
Confirm the right calendar is selected
Return to Calendar’s available-calendar list, expand the Outlook account, and check that the specific calendar containing the events is selected. An account can be present without every calendar under it being enabled.
Force-stop Calendar and clear its cache
If the account and calendar are selected but events remain missing, Samsung recommends force-stopping Calendar and clearing its cache. Then reopen Calendar and check whether the events appear. Use your device’s app settings to find Calendar and its storage or cache controls; exact labels may differ by software version.

Reserve Clear data for a later step
Clearing app data is not the same as clearing cache. Samsung says this resets Calendar to factory-default settings and removes personal settings or data saved in the app. Try the less disruptive checks first, and review Samsung’s troubleshooting guidance before using Clear data.

Samsung’s U.S. support instructions provide a specific Exchange route for work and school accounts, but do not establish a separate, complete Outlook.com setup flow that applies to every Galaxy device and account configuration. Check the account-add options currently shown in your Calendar app rather than assuming the Exchange steps will work for a personal account.

Alternatively, Samsung identifies Outlook for Galaxy as an app that can access email, calendar, contacts, and tasks after an email account has been added to Outlook. This provides another way to view Outlook calendar content; it does not mean every account uses the same Samsung Calendar connection flow. Samsung’s Outlook app guidance describes that option.
