To redeem Onyx Odds rewards, first confirm you have eligible Sweeps Cash winnings—not Virtual Coins or an unqualified Sweeps Cash balance—then complete any requested verification and submit the request through your signed-in account. Track it there: Pending means processing, while Approved means funds have been sent, not necessarily posted to your bank or card.
Check which Onyx Odds balance you have
Onyx Odds uses different balance types. The platform’s Terms of Use, version 2.1.1, updated August 7, 2026, describe Virtual Coins as non-transferable and without cash value. Sweeps Cash is governed separately by the Sweepstakes Rules: it can be played for a chance to accumulate winnings that may qualify for a prize redemption. A displayed balance alone does not guarantee that it can be redeemed.

Check that your Sweeps Cash winnings qualify
Under the current Sweepstakes Rules, Sweeps Cash obtained through the listed collection methods must be played at least once before it can qualify. The play must be on a game with displayed odds of -500 or longer. Opposite selections are ineligible, and the sponsor may require more than one play-through.

- Do not assume every Sweeps Cash balance or game result is eligible; consult the current rules for your situation.
Verify your account if Onyx asks
Use accurate personal information that matches your account. Onyx says signup information is often confirmed automatically, but some users may be asked for photo ID and a selfie. Its rules also reserve the right to require additional checks, which may include a government-issued photo ID, facial scan, proof of address, or SSN validation. These checks do not necessarily apply to every user. See How Do I Verify My Account?

Submit and track a redemption in your account
Sign in and use the redemption flow available in your account. Onyx’s public help article does not document every screen or control for submitting a new request, so follow the current in-account prompts rather than relying on an assumed button name. The account is also where you can check a request’s status. Onyx’s Where is My Redemption? help article, updated September 26, 2025, explains the status labels:
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | The request is processing. | Allow time for processing. You can cancel while it remains pending. |
| Approved | Funds have been sent. | Allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to post them. |
| Canceled | The request was reversed. | Check your account and eligibility before submitting another request. |
| Error | The request encountered an error. | Try again; contact Onyx support through your account or its official support channel if the problem persists. |
Cancel a pending request if necessary
Onyx’s How to Cancel Redemption help article, updated September 27, 2025, gives this route: open your account, view pending redemptions, and cancel the redemption. The instruction applies to a request that is still pending.

How long a redemption can take
The Sweepstakes Rules say payment can take up to 30 days in some circumstances and do not guarantee processing times. Verification can delay payment. Prizes of $500 or more may take longer because of security and fraud checks, or may be paid in multiple equivalent lump sums. Even after an account shows Approved, bank or card issuer timing can affect when funds arrive. Onyx’s help article summarizes Pending as: “Pending → Processing; please allow time.”

Limits and location restrictions
The Sweepstakes Rules permit one redemption request per account in each five-day period. They set a $5,000 maximum per Sweepstakes Entry Period for Florida and reserve discretion to impose Onyx Cash redemption limits of $1,000 per week and $5,000 per month. These are rule limits, not a promise that every user can redeem up to those amounts.

Availability depends on location, and Onyx says it verifies location. The help center’s Where Can I Use Onyx? article was updated September 26, 2025; location coverage and rules can change. Check the current account experience and Sweepstakes Rules for your state rather than treating an older location list as definitive.
