On supported OnePlus Nord phones, check Shelf for a Step Counter or Health Card. Return to the Home screen and swipe down to open Shelf, then look for the card showing your daily steps. The gesture and card availability vary by model and OxygenOS version, so the exact screen may differ.
Check your steps in Shelf
- Go to the Home screen.
- Swipe down to open Shelf on models where that gesture is assigned to it. OnePlus’s OxygenOS 14 Nord CE4 Lite user manual gives this path as “Swipe down on the Home screen to enter Shelf.”
- Find the Step Counter or Health Card. Its label depends on the software version. OnePlus described the Shelf step-counter card as upgraded to a Health Card in its OxygenOS 12 announcement.
OnePlus’s Shelf app listing describes the card as counting daily steps. You do not need a wearable just to view the phone’s built-in count.

If the step card is missing
Open Shelf’s widget picker and check whether a Step Counter or Health Card widget is available to add. The Nord CE4 Lite manual documents adding and arranging Shelf widgets, but it does not establish that a step-count card is offered on every Nord model or OxygenOS release. If the gesture or labels do not match, check your phone’s model, region, launcher, and OxygenOS version before following instructions written for a different Nord.

Shelf can show the phone’s count without a watch. If you have a paired OnePlus wearable, OnePlus Health can share wearable-collected activity data, including steps, with Google Fit when data sharing is enabled. OnePlus gives this route in its Health privacy policy: OnePlus Health > Device > Setting > Data Sharing > Google Fit. This is a separate sync option, not a requirement for viewing the phone’s Shelf count.
